Sydney is very much like London. We always come for the vivid show, well worth seeing, Sydney has so many options of what to do and where to go, entertainment is great, you can’t beat the opera house and the harbour bridge for that feel of history achieved.

Things to do are so vast now, streets are less congested with trams back in from Circular Quay. Public transport is more affordable with capped daily & weekly charges so we used it everywhere. Whilst we went for Vivid, as weather wasn't kind we spent more time on other things as the city has so much to do. Having a great view is the key to hotel stays in Sydney so pay the extra as its is worth the memories!

If you like history, take a walking tour of the city; visit The Rocks, the Opera House, and The Maritime Museum. If you visit Sydney's Fish Market, stop by The Boat Shed Restaurant for a fabulous Seafood Platter. For the most part, people were very friendly. Take a Credit Card with you to tap on tap off of the Light Rail and Ferries. Easy and convenient. Most places took cash as well.Renee TUnited States of America
