The room was exceptional with sea view and wonderful sunsets. Extremely modern.
We had breakfast at the Lighthouse Restaurant as no breakfast or facilities provided with the accommodation.
The room included a small table and two dining chairs but nothing more relaxing to read or watch TV.
Very safe car parking adjacent the building. We really did enjoy our three-nights stay.

Many, many positives.
Great curb appeal. Very welcoming feel. Staff are very friendly, dogs are very well looked after here. They receive a goodie bag and a bowl of water at every meal. A lovely paddock overlooking local horses for the dogs to exercise and use the toilet. Beautiful bathroom, large, very clean and well maintained bedrooms ( new build ). Food is 10/10, we enjoyed all of our meals.we could see the restaurant was always busy with events such as birthdays. Location is great, walked to the beach within 20 mins. We would love to visit again in the future.

Lymington is charming, historic and a lovely Georgian Town. Not having the big chains means there are lots of independent varied outlets. The pub food is always amazing wherever you go and The Haven restaurant is awesome !

Lymington was a great place to visit, it had a real energy and buzz about it. The shops were good, seemed like quite a few independent shops and the charity shops had some quirky items in them, too. The Saturday market exceeded my expectations and was really interesting. The marinas were popular with visitors and it was nice to sit in the sunshine to watch the ferry to the Isle of Wight docking and leaving. Some really nice café and deli places to visit and a host of interesting pubs to sample local ale and gins.

A nice town with independent cafes and boutiques.
A nice town with independent cafes and boutiques. We enjoyed lovely walks around the harbour and along the flats, we could have walked for hours. Great local ice cream and a gluten free flapjack shop - Flapjackery. So good we went back the next day!
The location is close the new forest and an easy drive from home, it’s the first trip for family (the second for me, the previous trip with the girls) and we will certainly return.

Lymington is the perfect place for a few days by the sea.
Lymington is the perfect place for a few days by the sea. Lots to watch, from boats to birds. A friendly little town on the edge of the New Forrest with ferries to the Isle of Wight and a large nature reserve with plenty of footpaths to walk.
A very undersold Hotel in the fact that it was “dog friendly”. When we arrived we were handed a lovely bag for our dog with a ball and water bowl, plus a letter from the resident dog, what a lovely gesture this was. The rooms were in my opinion better than some of the not dog friendly places we’ve stayed!!! This place is where the dog goes and takes the human along to get them there for their holiday break!!! Plus a lovely running area outside for dogs, perfect set up.
Breakfast excellent, chose day before and brought to your table. Excellent facilities pitch and putt giant draughts putting course the grounds and views fantastic. Our room was kept very clean and towels changed every day. Shower over bath good and the storage for clothing more than in any other hotel we have stayed. Ideal for IOW ferry and Lymington Pier Train
This is a splendid hotel. Our host Tobi was delightful his knowledge of local restaurants and places to visit was very helpful, the hotel is perfectly situated to explore Lymington and The New Forest, breakfast was fantastic, rooms clean and spacious, just the perfect place for a few nights away, we will definitely return, thank you Tobi 😊
Very convenient location for the New Forrest and the Lymington area.
Check in was good and car parking very close to room.
Evening meal and breakfast were very good and staff were nice and friendly.
Based on our visit we have also booked one of their other Hotels near Bath.
Fantastic place. Amazing knowledgeable staff. Very warm and welcoming place. The location is ideal and very handy for lymington and the new forest. I would definitely recommend.
The restaurant serves fantastic food and the in house brewery is brilliant.
The house is charming and very comfortable. Everything is catered for. It is tastefully decorated and a very relaxing place to stay The location is perfect in the centre of town and there are magnificent views over the harbour .
Lovely clean and comfortable room. Great ambience and good food, and above all - excellent service. The staff really looked after me. It is also very near to Lymington Town Station, so extremely convenient for travelling too.
Third visit to the Bosun's Chair and it was great! Staff are so friendly and welcoming. The hotel is a short walk from the High Street and is a great place to stay when visiting the New Forest. Car parking is a bonus too.
Semi rural location. Close proximity to Lymington by car. Made extra effort with tea, coffee, hot chocolate, bottled water, banana’s & candy provided in the room on arrival. Scrupulously clean. Modest price.
Room (in the annexe) was of an exceptionally high standard, with every possible facility. Rooms made up each day which was very welcome after Covid period when hotels stopped doing this
The breakfast really couldn’t have been better & the location was 3 minute stroll to the high street of Lymington, hostess was very welcoming & helpful, will definitely book again.
