A charming actual Tudor cottage. Not so suitable for tall people .... but I am quite short so NP. The owners very kindly left out a bottle of wine and a bar of chocolate, which was appreciated. It is very near a small supermarket so getting breakfast stuff would be no problem. The very few parking spaces opposite are not timed, but the ones next to the supermarket are OK until 11am which gives time to repark if needed. Good shower.

Tudor Cottage is a characterful 17th Century cottage located in the heart of Warwick, just a short walk to all the delights this lovely market town has to offer. On your doorstep is the majestic Warwick Castle, plus a variety of eateries, pubs, supermarkets and the essentials to cater for your every need. The house has a well equipped kitchen with a lounge and dining area that offers comfortable living. The large master bedroom contains a king size bed with a single day bed, that folds down to a full size single bed for an extra person. The second bedroom contains twin single beds. A quirky period property full of character, Tudor Cottage has 2 bedrooms and sleeps up to 5 people. Designed with comfort in mind, Tudor Cottage comes fully equipped with everything you need to ensure an enjoyable and restful stay. The wooden beams and quirky period features of this cottage are the epitome of Warwick’s historic character, providing you with a unique experience upon your visit to this alluring town. Please note: the quirky internal staircase is steeper and more narrow than a standard staircase and may be hard to manage for the mobility impaired. Please see images in listing for details.

Neighborhood info

The property is located in the heart of Warwick with all the main areas of the town centre within walking distance. The main attraction of the region, the fabulous Warwick Castle is a 10 min walk away as is the market square which holds markets and other events regularly. It is important to note that there is a Sainsburys just across the road as well as a Tesco Superstore, M+S and Morrisons a short drive away, which means you can pick up the essentials at almost any time of the day. If you are a foodie and prefer to eat out or grab a takeaway, you won’t be disappointed by the selection of food outlets in the local area. There are an array of atmospheric local pubs, coffee houses and eateries that are within walking distance, you have the choice of many different cuisines including Chinese, Turkish, Italian, Thai, Indian and more. There are a couple of noteworthy parks nearby, St Nicholas Park is very close by and has lots of attractions including leisure centre, crazy golf, paddle boats, and playground. Priory Park is an historic, natural park a very short walk from Tudor Cottage. Warwick also has a racecourse, ten pin bowling centre and indoor trampoline park for the active ones.
