The entrance to the one-bedroom apartment is a large, rustic arched doorway leading to the living room. The other room is the master bedroom with a 160x200 cm bed. Completing the apartment is a spacious 370-cm-long kitchen, a passageway and a bathroom with shower. The living room is embellished with a conservatively restored ancient brick vault and is equipped with a sofa that easily converts into a full-size bed with a 14-cm-high quality mattress. The accommodation is therefore perfect for a couple, but also for a couple with children or two friends.
My name is Sacha, I live in the adjoining apartment and I am available for reception, information and suggestions. I speak English and I am a licensed environmental hiking guide. I have a strong passion for hiking and a vast knowledge of the history of the landscape as well as the natural environment of the Florentine province and the whole Tuscany. To those who love hiking and are interested in exploration, I offer excursions through the most striking landscapes of my region.
Our apartments are located within the elegant, reserved and quiet setting of Villa Fossi, in the municipality of Calenzano, 15 km away from the center of Florence and 2 km from the Calenzano highway exit. Villa Fossi is an ancient noble residence whose construction dates back to the 17th century, restored several times over time and currently it’s an architectural heritage protected by the Superintendence of Fine Arts of Florence.
