Excellent place, all you need! Elegant, stylish, functional and comfortable, super friendly staff who truly think of their clients (I had to wait for my bus and they had absolutely no issue with checking out right in time, this is truly exceptional), great view from the room, beautiful garden with fantastic view, clean, clean, clean..! What else one would need? I really loved this place. Before moving to this hotel, I was staying in another one with more stars but with much less of everything wanted and was provided by Palazzo Ravizza.

Surrounded by rolling hills and Chianti vineyards, Siena shines as a jewel of the Tuscan Renaissance, and has been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Experience the famous Palio di Siena horse race, catch the pulse of the city at Piazza del Campo, visit the beautiful Duomo cathedral…and fall in love with this charming city!
Founded by Etruscans around 900 BC, the city was first conquered by Romans and later by Lombards. The Middle Ages saw it becoming the independent and flourishing Republic of Siena, until its annexation to the Grand Duchy of Tuscany.
The economic difficulties that followed turned out to be a blessing for the preservation of its historic center. Adorned with frescoes by Ghirlandaio and bass-reliefs by Donatello, Lorenzo Ghiberti, and Jacopo della Quercia, the Duomo represents the highest expression of this well-kept legacy. The shell-shaped Piazza del Campo, with the Palazzo Pubblico and the Gaia Fountain, is still the heart and soul of the city. Follow the labyrinth of narrow streets and passages that irradiate from there and you will be enchanted by its romantic atmosphere from ancient times.
The closest airports are Peretola Airport in Florence and Galileo Galilei International Airport in Pisa, though Guglielmo Marconi Airport in Bologna is also well connected. While planning your trip, don’t forget to check out the Siena accommodations deals on Booking.com!

Beautiful city with interesting sights, but they have to do a lot more if they want to accommodate this number of tourists (especially to create or control the taxi service which is absolutely unprofessional and unreliable).

This was our most liked stop in our almost three week trip to Italy. The property and staff was amazing and they were able to recommend restaurants, arrange taxi service and especially the wine tour to the Mazzie Winery in Fonterutoli. The property was top notch, clean, quiet and would highly recommend if you are staying in Siena.

Everything! What a place.
Everything! What a place. Our favourite experience was the guided walk through the Tuscan countryside! Keko our guide was fantastic combing historic elements to modern day life with a bit of nature and wildlife thrown in. Visiting Siena was a an experience we will never forget and we hope to return someday.

We enjoyed our visit to Siena in spite of the rain on our first day. We visited the Duomo complex and were impressed with the splendour of the Cathedral, the Bapistry and the Crypt but The Piccolomini library was the most impressive part of the complex for us. We enjoyed just walking around the streets of Siena and taking in the centuries old feel of the place.

Great old city!
Great old city! Good to stay and explore Tuscany from here by car. Busses go to other major places too. We took an express bus to Florence and back. You need to make sure where the bus is leaving in Siena and in Florence.

Siena is a beautiful, historic town with amazing vistas, cost small streets and much less crowds compared to Bologna and Florence. It’s a wonderful place to spend some time in and get a feel for what Italy used to be. If you are looking for something calmer Siena is a really good choice. It is awesome for day trips to Florence, Pisa, Arrezo and others.
This was probably the most "hotel-like" accommodations we had while we were in Italy. I actually liked that it was a 10 min walk away from the main area/Piazza Campo. And we wouldn't have found Osteria di Nonna if we didn't stay there (which was probably our favorite meal in Siena). The dining terrace on the 7th floor had wonderful views of the Tuscan countryside. We actually had dinner there, and the food quality was quite good.
The staff were all super friendly and courteous.
Amazing B&B, everything was meticulous to the detail. Very friendly personal with good use of the english language (an exception in Italy). The location a few steps away from the cathedral of Siena and the Piazza del Campo was really a big plus. The highlight was the room itself which was beyond imagination. Like a real Palazzo, super clean, spacious, good tasted and quiet. Highly recommended, i would definitely book again if i was going to revisit Siena in the future.
Great location for visiting Siena and surrounding area without being in Siena itself. Spacious and comfortable apartment with everything we needed. Washing machine was great as we were in the middle of a long driving holiday around Italy. Bus stop just outside made it super easy to visit Siena itself (5 min away) without a car. Even walked back one evening. Bus tickets available from reception. Staff were very friendly and helpful with advice.
The location was perfect for us since we were able to park just outside the ZTL and walk with our luggage to the hotel. It was a medium-length walk, but easily doable for those with moderate fitness and ability. It's right next to the Palazzo Pubblico and some really great restaurants. I would happily stay there again if I return to Siena. (note that the property may be unsuitable for those who have trouble with stairs).
The hotel is very well located and it’s five minutes walk from the main square. structure is modern and the common area is so beautiful. Our room was very wide, with comfortable bed and shower was good. Also, one of the few hotels with elevator to access to room floor.
The staff was very kind and helpful for us to solve tourists problems as getting a taxi, purchasing tickets, etc. The best service crew we got in Italy
SUCH good value - beautiful old rooms and wonderful breakfast. Parking is not free, but it's hard to find a hotel in central Siena with parking, so it was really nice to have! Their language around breakfast is confusing - they say it is 'not included in the room rate, but offered by the hotel' (???) - so it is included. But it definitely feels like a classy, old-fashioned nice hotel for a fantastic price.
the views of the Tuscan hills off the terrace were amazing. perfect place to relax in the afternoon. great location just outside of Porta Roma. very easy to get to city center. staff are extremely helpful and friendly. lovely breakfast with a coffee bar and more Tuscan views. loved the historic building , very old world feel. would definitely return to the hotel. our favorite lodging in Italy
This is a modern, stylish suite/apartment located in one of Italy's most beautiful squares: stepping out of the front door and into Piazza del Campo feels just like magic. All of Siena's main attractions are literally within a 10 walk. The room is spacious, the bed is comfortable, the air conditioning and the WiFi both work properly. Customer service is also superb. Absolutely wonderful all around.
We loved everything about Hotel Italia. The breakfast buffet was excellent (and the only time we had eggs during our week’s tour of Italy). The staff were always professional and helpful. The room was spotlessly clean, quiet and had a comfortable bed / pillows. The hotel is a few minutes’ walk from the central train station and a 20 minutes’ walk from Sienna’s cathedral.
This was perfect for a few nights stay in Siena. It was not a far walk or bus journey into the town. The place was very modern and well equipped. Including a washing machine (great as we were travelling around Italy) and not far from the station. We loved how friendly the staff were - since it was our honeymoon they got us a lovely present to help remind us of Siena!
Our host, Alberto, was very helpful and easy to contact and communicate with. We especially appreciated his guidance on valeting our car. Breakfast was fresh and delicious. The hotel is situated perfectly for exploring the historic center of Siena. We enjoyed the variety of restaurants next to the hotel and there are some fun bars to check out in the evening.
Hello there!
We stayed 2 nights, 03-04/April and
hotel location was great & the room was bigger than usual, but the bath towel was smelly, felt like they using some strange detergent, please check that out!!
The coffee wasn't good /from the machine /
&the bathroom needs a bit of renovation, other than was fine. For a city ture, we love Siena
thanks
Lovely hotel. The room, parking and outside area were very tiny but had a nice ambiance. The location is right close to the city walls of Siena and there are some public electric chargers in a walking distance from the hotel. The breakfast was good, typical that you’ll find in Italy. The staff (Luigi) was very nice and attentive. Felt a bit pricey though
Clean hotel, beautiful view, and centrally located. Only a few minutes away from Piazza del Campo. Hotel staff and owner provided excellent service, they truly went out of their way to make us feel comfortable during our short stay. Would book here again next time I am in Siena.
The hotel is my favorite in Italy, Old world feel but new world comfort! I love staying there....have done so twice and will again. The staff is fantastic and the 6th floor terrace is the best, beautiful views.
This is THE place to stay for il Palio!
Overall this was a great property. The staff was friendly, for the most part. They gave us good ideas of what to do in Siena, and how to take the bus there. There is a restaurant in the hotel, which is a bit high end, and they serve delicious food.
Stunning hotel within walking distance of the best Siena has to offer. Such a unique stay, with much bigger rooms than anticipated. The gorgeous atrium can’t be missed! The experience of staying in the old abbey was amazing!
The hotel is in an ideal spot for walking into Siena. The area is quiet and the hotel is opposite a lovely park with trees, benches and a fountain - a lovely spot to relax in on your way into Siena or after a busy day.
It is very close to the Duomo and there are excellent restaurants nearby. The hotel has the most amazing rooftop terrace with panoramic views of Siena and the countryside.
