Charming place. Amazing decor. The hosts were kind and helpful. Very peaceful village, away from all the crowds. Just nature and beauty.
Podere Vergianoni con piscina e vista mozzafiato is a recently renovated apartment in Tavarnelle Val di Pesa where guests can make the most of its pool with a view, open-air bath, and garden.
This place was incredible. The property was beautiful and so well kept. The owner, Alex, could t have done more to make sure we were comfortable in our stay and went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. He was really friendly, great with our kids and made us feel like we were at home. The rooms were so well decorated, the beds comfy and Alex had great recommendations for exploring the area nearby. I wouldn’t hesitate to come back in an instant.

This is a great base for your Chianti Classico visit.
This is a great base for your Chianti Classico visit. Head out on windy roads with each drop and rise opening views of vineyards, olive groves and honey colored houses. Taste test to your heart’s content and head out early to catch dinner in a medieval hill top town. Or, you could settle down with a glass in hand and read through that pile of books you brought along! Eat at Bar el Poggio or the La Toppa Trattoria in the Main Street, both are great. Parking is 5 euros a day or free, depending when you get there (be early!).

Beautiful and quiet area that is a short 15-30 minute vespa/car ride away from many popular Tuscan towns and Chianti vineyards. Also the perfect spot to take day trips to either Florence, San Gimignano, or Siena (each 30-50 mins away).

This property was stunning.
This property was stunning. We loved the views and surrounding scenery. It was peaceful and beautiful and the perfect holiday and we would have liked to stay longer. The shops are within driving distance and easy to find with lots of local produce to try. We loved the walks around the property and scenery. It was picture perfect and had everything we needed. My kids loved the pool and wide open spaces to roam around. We felt like the only people there. We went on lots of walks and early morning runs. It was simply stunning.

Such a cute little town with friendly residents and a wonderful restaurant...La Vecchia Piazza. Low-key and casual, with the best pizza we've ever had. We also appreciated that they had a separate menu in English, though some of the translations were amusing. Given we don't speak any Italian, we have no room to judge! We sat outdoors and were surrounded by mainly locals and a big table of Germans and it was lively and breezy. On the second night we went, there was a street festival with food, booths selling their wares, and musicians. Most everyone spoke at least a little English, but we were all able to communicate just fine.

We spent a week at Poggiosole with our family. We loved the house that was renovated recently in a modern-authentic style with high quality materials. The house is located in the middle of an olive garden. The pool area is very spacious and beautiful. The location is great, Firenze is 20 minutes, Sienna about 40 minutes by car. Alex was very responsive and helpful with all our questions, he had great recommendations regarding restaurants and wine tastings in the area.
The apartment as well as the premises are stunning. The host is very friendly, professional, and ready to assist.
You can find a supermarket (COOP) and restaurants nearby.
Easy to reach Florence, Siena, San Gimignano, Greve, winery Antinori, and Poggio al Bosco.
Unfortunately, we visited in early spring and could not enjoy the pool and the view from it, but I am sure it is lovely in summer.
The hotel is amazing - clean, cozy, with an unique view and garden. We have never felt so special as here, the woman prepared the child's special food because he doesn't eat everything. We had a problem with the car and the owner helped us find a repair shop. We recommend this magical place to anyone who wants to escape the crowds in big cities and feel at home!
We stayed in Poggio Alle Lame while visiting Florence. It is in very good location in the nature with a beautiful view of surrounding vineyards. Rooms are noiseless and clean. Breakfast in the garden was good and adequate. Location was also good for making daily trips to Florence and surrounding areas.
Very nice stay! Good location, breakfast and dinner were delicious, easy to find and easy access with the car. Wifi all around the location, in the rooms, at the pool... We also went to eat to Beatrice 's son and brother's restaurants (Barberino and Tavernelle) and both were very good!
Beautiful views from bedroom window and patio. Sunset view from just outside gate was spectacular. Easy to get to Siena and Florence for day trips. Very close grocery store and restaurants. Beds were very comfortable and the apartment is extremely nice. Easy to cook in the kitchen.
Great location with a pathway to go on walk on your own along the vineyards and to reach another small town in 15 minutes. Love this Tuscan region! Beautifully kept hotel grounds, pool, and dining area! Super special and incredible 4-star find. Will certainly promote to friends.
Great hotel for our one night stay. We can highly recommend it as it is right next to the highway and a great position to explore Florence and Chianti Area. Excellent breakfast and wonderful staff. We will be back for sure. Modern rooms and excellent restaurants nearby as well.
Easy access to vineyards and all places we were planning to visit in Tuscany. Our room was clean. The receptionist recommended a few restaurants nearby (super nice addition) and provided a map plus recommendation what is the best way to do our Chianti Classico tour.
The breakfast was typical Italian breakfast for a B&B, with 1 plus, we were offered cheese omelette in addition to the normal offerings. Delicious!!! Also had dinner there one night which was very good.
The grounds are immaculate and the pool superb
The breakfast was a collection of local delicacies, including home made jam and freshly cooked scrambled egg. The coffee was the best we’ve had in Italy and sunsets from our balcony were heavenly!
What a great find. This place was beautiful and the staff was incredible. I would live to experience this property in the summer to enjoy the pool. Breakfast was great and parking was easy.
the room and hotel were immaculate, beautifully decorated and very well maintained.
excellent location to explore northern Tuscany (easy access to Florence, Siena, San Gimignano)
Very authentic, comfortable and spacious room. The hosts are wonderful! There is free parking just a short walk away. Beautiful views of the countryside from the terrace.
