My stay was HORRIBLE! It. My room was filthy! It’s was covered in dust. When I turned the AC on an overwhelming order permeated the room so I immediately turned it off.
The furniture was chipped and outdated. It was like a prison. It gives the appearance that there has been no effort to update the rooms in 20 years.

Other than Times Square being crazy busy with people because of the Marathon on Sunday, we loved our weekend getaway to see Hamilton, Central Park, Eataly, and ABCV for brunch. We met up with a friend who knew his way around which was an added bonus. We made the mistake of flying into ISLIP which was a long drive in but flew out of LaGuardia and it was extremely convenient.

Now intolerably expensive.
Now intolerably expensive. I have been visiting New York for forty years, several times a year, but will in future try other countries as it's impossible to enjoy New York now (unless your idea of dinner is standing up in a brightly lit place eating a slice of pizza with a can of Pepsi).
The subway, in which I have never felt threatened, was so obviously dangerous on this visit, I had to call on the assistance of police officers more than once; I saw a group of police restraining a man who was fighting them as he had tried to escape with a stolen backpack. Mine would definitely have been stolen if there had not been officers close by, by chance.

I love New York!
I love New York! Very happy to discover that the Bryant Park Holiday Marketplace was up and running in early November. We didn't plan to be in the city during the Marathon, but it added to our enjoyment of the trip. So cool to witness! One recommendation is to head to Red Rooster Harlem on a Sunday for their Gospel Brunch. Incredible food and a wonderful performance! Well worth it!

I have stayed already in several hotels in NYC through the years and I can easily say that this one is the best.. not only the cheapest regarding the price.. but the most confortable (with modern design and furniture) very clean (never saw this level of cleanliness in NYC) and well located. Staff is very nice (we asked for a room on top floors and got it) and always ready to assist (not the case in most Manhattan), spacious room, a big gym.. we had the best time!
Large room relative to Manhattan, but for sure the are not 323ft as indicated at Booking, it seems less than 200ft which is still large for this area.
A car pickup/drop place at the hotel backward very helpful at this busy area of Manhattan.
The location at the Times Square for some people will be best, for other maybe too busy and crowded
Great hotel for a getaway in New York! We loved absolutely everything! The view from our room of Times Square was amazing. And best of all, there's a restaurant on the first floor and a bar with a lovely outdoor terrace!
Modern Hotel in the center of Manhattan. Many sights in walking distance (Central Park, Times Square, MoMA), so it's perfect as a base to discover New York. Rooms are large (for New York), modern and clean.
The location is absolutely great. In the center of Manhattan, few steps to Central Park or Times Square. The hotel has stylish outlook of old NY style.
