Everything. The hotel room, our private onsen, the public spa and onsen, the gym, the fact that the hotel is nearby a river with a waterfall. It makes for an excellent private onsen experience in my opinion. Never had anything like this before!

The rooms are incredibly big! We had a bedroom but opted to sleep in the living room with their tatami beds to wake up with the view of the mountains! Staff here is amazing, we were asking for directions to our next hotel, they gave us a really detailed guide with which exact trains to ride. A tip though if you book this hotel, it's a straight road to the cable train(Naka-Gora stop) but the last trip is around 5pm. Get the Hakone freepass, it's really worth it and you can easily go to the Hakone tourist spots. We used the bus to get here it was..not the best, the cable train is a better way, though google map's doesn't seems to have it.
