I used to study in the UK in the late 1970s. Just as crowded as ever. Sad to see a number of British Stores along Oxford street. Surprised at the number of homeless on Oxford street. Shopping no longer fun without the VAT Refund I love the fact that there are so many museums and shows that can be enjoyed by the whole family.Guest review byJuni RHMalaysia - 10.0

Lots of hotel choices near Manchester Victoria and the AO arena, and it's easy to get an Uber further into the city to access the shops if you don't want to walk. A fun and relaxed atmosphere, I always love coming to Manchester for events.Guest review byHeatherUnited Kingdom - 10.0

We went to the tower dungeon, that was very entertaining, I'm nit going to spoil it for people visiting it, as (there were a few surprises through out the tour) the actors/staff were fab, bar and gift shop too. The Mancester Pub do lovely food, our first time eating there, but have visited before. Very pretty princess horsedrawn carraiges for kids & adults. Trams every 10mins Fleetwood is a quiet place with cafe and amusements on the sea front, cleavlies abit more busy, both places are nice to have a stroll round, beaches clean, plenty of cafes and icecream vans!Guest review byDianeUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Birmingham is a beautiful city, very easy to navigate and find your way around whether walking or using the tram. Our favourite area was the restaurants and bars around the canal, also Brindley Place. We ate at Binarajee as wanted to try the 'home of the Balti", it didn't disappoint!Guest review bysueUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Easy to see the main sights such as the Castle, Cathedrals, plenty of bars, restaurants to suit everyone. Worth using the open air tour bus, the ticket lasts for 24 hours, so you can repeat the tour or hop on and off as you wish. We found the people of Newcastle to be friendly, plenty to do for everyone. Worth visiting the sights old and new.Guest review byDaveUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Lovely little place for a weekend, just don't choose the bank holiday weekend, or when York races are on. We made this mistake and the city was heaving with tourists making the town Centre too crowded to enjoy. We had a family mail for a big group out at the Dormouse pub, which was lovely - great staff, good food and a lovely atmosphere in the dining room.Guest review byAdamaeUnited Kingdom - 10.0

A very interesting city centre, a mixture of modern and historic. I particularly liked the wonderful old shopping arcades. The area around the railway station was difficult to negotiate on foot due to building works.Guest review byPamelaUnited Kingdom
