Such a friendly, helping and lovely staff at Avon Hotel. They helped us with everyting we needed, city instructions,Oyster cards, socket adapter, taxi for the airport.I felt so sorry I didnt had the chance to say goodbay with a big hug because of the early hour we left.I recomand Avon Hotel,it is closed to eveeything,15- 20 min to anywhere you wished to go.The Paddington station is 3 min walk.We only used the undergound and not the bus.The Hyde Park is 5- 10 min walk and it is amazing to visit. We basically walked from Hyde Park to Victoria station. The breakfast was also very good and tasty, with coffee, orange juice, tea, fruits. In London it is not easy to find a hotel which offers also breakfast, therefore for this location is a plus and it is something what we were looking for when choosing the hotel.Highly recomomend Avon Hotel!

The location is excellent taking only a couple of minutes to walk from Shepherd’s Bush station. The design of the hotel is beautiful, feels like a boutique style despite being part of a chain. The staff were fantastic, so polite and couldn’t do more to help. The bed was very comfortable, room and bathroom very clean with small touches such as a welcome note and chocolate treat. We stayed within the first two weeks of opening and so were the first to stay in our room - there was an issue with the shower that had gone undetected, once we notified reception, they moved us rooms and upgraded us for the inconvenience. The way this was handled by the staff and management was second to none, the service they provided means we will be staying again.

The staff were amazing - from our airport pickup, to check-in, to the concierges and doormen and waiting staff. All were incredibly well trained, efficient, and couldn't wait to assist us with anything. Our breakfasts were amazing - 5 Star doesn't come close to how excellent they were. Our room was very comfortable and full of wonderful little thoughtful touches. The Ritz was a once-in-a-lifetime destination for a special weekend and I will never forget how special everyone made us feel.

We had the best time. The hotel is just stunning and newly renovated. We used the spa facilities and it was so nice after a long day out walking. All the staff were really nice and helpful. We even had a bottle of bubbly and a fruit basket as a surprise in our upgraded room. What a treat to come back to🥰. Breakfast was so fresh and there wasn’t anything you couldn’t get, and served until the 11am. We will for sure be back.

The location is absolutely fantastic. 20 minutes walking distance from Big Ben, nearby restaurants, cinemas, clubs, bars, fast food locations and stores. Room was pretty small but with a perfect view to the city. Breakfast could be better. There were NO eggs, sausages, or varieties of yogurts. Warm sandwiches were delicious though.

London is an iconic city.

London is an iconic city. It was the center of a global empire for centuries, and as such, it is full of sights to see, a rich history to explore, and traditions to discover. The areas we explored (the City, Westminster, and Kensington) were perfectly organized and safe. Since we were attending a conference, I should note that EXCEL is one of Europe's best conference centers; even a conference of 12,000 people had plenty of space, and it never felt crowded. There’s something for everyone when it comes to dining, though British cuisine isn’t exactly its strong suit... But the bars and the beers are perfect. The change in weather is interesting. It was 35 degrees during our stay. England and London aren’t prepared for this. Few places have air conditioning, and the once-wonderfully green lawns are turning yellow.

Harrow is a great area to stay in, especially if you’re looking for somewhere convenient and lively. There are plenty of shopping options nearby, including supermarkets and a nice mall within about 5 minutes, which makes it really easy to pick up groceries or anything you need. The area feels vibrant and well-connected, with excellent transport links. The Metropolitan line makes it easy to travel into central London as well as to places like Wembley and Heathrow. Overall, Harrow is a very practical and enjoyable location, with a good mix of convenience, accessibility, and local amenities.

It was an absolute nightmare getting back from the gig at Crystal Palace Park. We chose this apartment as it was relatively close, but it ended up taking us nearly 3 hours to get back. Croydon itself was okay, although we were scared off exploring much as people told us how dodgy the area was.

Town is easy to walk. River had boats that can take you to Hampton Cort Palace which we did twice since there is so much to see. Easy to get to Ascot and Windsor via the train. Great tube and overground service from Richmond Station. Plenty of buses that run every few minutes and up until midnight on many routes. Area is very clean and organized. Little panhandling and little homeless visibility. Check out YouTube for a lot of info on the town

I know Twickenham well having lived there. 30 years later it has improved with the pedestrianisation of Church Street. Workhas commenced on demolishing some ugly shops which will open up the view of the river from King Sttreet. I'm looking forward to seeing the result. There are some pleasant pubs, including those near the river. Marble Hill Park and Radnor Gardnes are also really nice, with dog-walkers welcome. We checked out Walpole's wonderful Strawberry Hill House - it was well worth the visit.
