We spent 7 nights at this charming hotel. The location of the hotel is excellent, bus lines and destinations are right next door. The service at the hotel is exceptional. I would especially like to mention Rashita, from whom we received exceptional service and treatment in the dining room. The service at the hotel in general is really excellent and the guest gets the feeling that he is welcome. In general, you feel that the issue of service at this hotel is extremely important and every request is answered quickly. The breakfast with table service is excellent, we also had dinner several times and it was very good. There is no doubt that on our next visit to London this will be a favorite hotel.

Great location: opposite Trafalgar Square, walking distance to Oxford circus, Westminster Abbey, London Eye, Buckingham Palace, Leicester Square, Theatre District, Covent Garden and the list goes on. For attractions further away, the station was steps away and a bus stop was right around the corner. Taxis and Ubers were always available in the area as well. The facilities were very comfortable, modern furnishings, nice complimentary bar, great breakfast and coffee at the lobby cafe and a plethora of restaurants in walking distance. We had a little shower clog the first night and they came immediately to resolve once notified. Excellent, friendly and responsive team. Really enjoyed my stay.

The Dorchester is more than just a hotel; it's an institution, a beacon of elegance in the heart of London. Our recent stay was nothing short of extraordinary, exceeding all expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in an atmosphere of refined luxury. The staff's impeccable service was discreet yet attentive, anticipating our every need. The surprise upgrade to a suite was the cherry on top, transforming our stay into an unforgettable experience. The suite itself was a masterpiece of design, exuding timeless elegance with modern comforts. The spacious layout, plush furnishings, and breathtaking views of Hyde Park created a serene and indulgent haven. Every detail, from the exquisite linens to the state-of-the-art amenities, was meticulously curated. Beyond the luxurious accommodations, The Dorchester offers a plethora of world-class dining experiences. We indulged in afternoon tea at The Promenade, a truly delightful affair with delicate finger sandwiches, freshly baked scones, and an array of delectable pastries. The ambiance was simply enchanting, with live piano music setting the perfect tone. The hotel's prime location, just steps away from Hyde Park, provided easy access to some of London's most iconic attractions. However, we found ourselves reluctant to leave the comfort of The Dorchester, as it offered everything we could desire.

We booked this hotel to celebrate my partner's birthday, and it truly exceeded all of our expectations. From the moment we arrived, everything felt incredibly luxurious. The hotel itself is beautifully modern and spotless, and the atmosphere immediately made our stay feel special. Every member of staff was exceptionally friendly and welcoming, always going out of their way to help. The door staff deserve a special mention - they were consistently attentive, helping with our bags and greeting us with a smile every time walked past, which really added to the overall experience. Nothing ever telt like too much trouble; any questions we had were answered quickly and kindly, making us feel genuinely looked after throughout our stay. The level of service was outstanding and made the whole experience feel effortless and relaxing. Breakfast was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. While it is a little more expensive than average, it is well worth it for the quality and experience. Overall, this was a memorable stay and the perfect choice for a special occasion - we would not hesitate to return and would highly recommend it to others. The room was also decorated for my partner's birthday, which was a lovely touch and made the stay feel even more special.

Considering the price and the location, this was a great option for a private room with a shared bathroom in London. I booked the small room, and although it’s exactly as described — very compact and without a window — it actually had everything I needed: a TV, a mirror, and even a small desk. The shared bathrooms were consistently clean, which I really appreciated. Overall, I was happy with the stay.

Easy navigation and transport, with economical tap on tap off on buses in non-peak hour hugely discounted and fun for seeing a lot while getting to destinations. My trip was for WEST END Theatre and I pre-booked 7 Shows for the seven days in London. Whilst tickets purchased this way are very expensive it meant I saw everything I wanted to to see in the exact seats of my preference. The quality of theatrical experience is fabulous though my travel partner (tall) found seating in some theatres just too tight and might have been better if his seat had been on end of a row so he had more room (I loved the centre of STALLS seats I had booked!). As an Aussie the exchange rate meant everything was about DOUBLE cost for meals/drinks/basic entry fees/tours/transport so only way to FEEL better was to pretend POUND = dollar... (and deal with the cost later...). We were warned about pick-pockets and can see why they would have success with so many who wander around with phones in hand and easily grabbed handbags - on tables etc...I wore crossbody bag under raincoat and felt very safe - and kept phone in zipped front pocket - for photos etc... People we asked for help were very friendly, pubs were welcoming for meals/drinks and staff at airport and stations were also VERY helpful when we needed guidance - so LONDON was a great host for us!

Hounslow is a thriving town very close to Heathrow airport and large businesses. We found the locals to be friendly and there was everything you would need to enhance your stay - pubs, cafés, shops, a large cinema etc. There were lots of families walking their children to school so we assume it's well-equipped from that point of view. It is very easy to navigate Hounslow on foot or by road. We hope to visit again and stay for longer next time

We had just one night- arrived in the morning (and were allowed to park and leave the car), nice lunch at the hotel and then the train (35 mins) into London for a few hours. I recently stayed at Heatherbank Guest House.

I recently stayed at Heatherbank Guest House. The location is relatively convenient for Stansted Airport – about an hour by car transfer – and the staff were friendly enough. As my room did not have a microwave, they kindly allowed me to use the kitchen one. The room and bathroom were clean, with fresh towels provided daily, which I appreciated. However, one major issue left me quite frustrated. On the morning of my departure, I had an early flight at 7 am and needed to wake up at 3 am. To my surprise, the electricity (or main lighting) in my room and bathroom was completely off. I had to shower using my phone’s flashlight. Thankfully, I had finished packing the night before, as doing so in pitch darkness would have been impossible. I checked, and it wasn’t just my room – the small room between my entrance and the main hallway also had no power. Only the main hallway lights were on, which was a relief, as otherwise carrying two heavy suitcases downstairs would have been extremely unsafe. This situation made me think: what if a guest were ill and needed the bathroom at night, a breastfeeding mother needing light, or someone returning late in the evening? I had noticed the generator (or main power) going on and off during the two previous nights as well, with a short power surge to the mini fridge, which was quite noisy. This is an important matter that should be communicated to guests and fixed promptly. While the cleanliness and some of the staff’s helpfulness were positives, this power outage experience left me feeling stressed and disappointed.
