Good city transport.
Good city transport. Local buses (Lothian) and Trams are good to explore the city. Ticket prices are affordable. Museums, beaches and City Centre are a few examples of fantastic tourist places in Edinburgh. The live digital display trackers for local buses & trams are superb! A variety of cuisines are available. Booking. com and Google Maps supported me a lot in organising my travel schedule. I stayed at HFS The Mill House. Very good place for short holiday stays. I visited the following restaurants: Chennai Marina, Flavors of Andhra and McDonald in Gorgie Park Road. I enjoyed the Indian cuisine. The food quality and taste was good in all the above-mentioned restaurants. Ranga Indian restaurant (near Portobello beach) was superb!Guest review byRAJTHILAKUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Amazing how Glasgow has turned around from its grimy industrial past into the liberal cultural place of today. Nearby was the Tenement House museum and also the Royal Scots Fusileers museum apart from the night life of Succihal St Exelent public for exploring further afield.Guest review byKeithUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Amazing and beautiful city with lots to see and explore in the central area. From architecture to libraries - there is a lot to see if you're into cultural exploration. Love the place and definitely recommend it.Guest review byYanko ChurovBulgaria - 10.0
The beach is long and clean.
The beach is long and clean. There is a lot of construction work ongoing at the ice rink and swimming pool. It will be very good. Amustments and funfair open at 10. Ideal for the kids. The City is great for walking with nice parks with mostly clean streets. Of course it has its not so nice parts where the junkies hang about, every major city or town has them. Art gallery and museums worth a visit. loads of eating places.Guest review byBrian StarkUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Great base for Ben Nevis. Good restaurants, highly recommend Ben Nevis bar (but get there early to bag a table). Very friendly town. Lovely cinema. Enjoyed the boat trip to Seal Island on Loch Linnhe, and Neptune's Staircase.Guest review byJDysonUnited Kingdom - 8.0

We were using Oban to access the Cal Mac ferry to Lismore, as my partner's dad is buried there. Everything went very smoothly and we had a nice sailing there and back. We enjoyed a couple of excellent meals at the Waterfront Sea Food Restaurant and ES-USK Seafood Restaurant. Enjoyed an evening of live music and a few drinks in The Oban Inn. Finished the trip off by visiting McCaig's Tower, with excellent views over the town, sea, and surrounding Islands.Guest review byJohnUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Dundee is a beautiful place by the sea. We went to the Verdant Jute Mill which is a must see!!! We ate supper at Malmaison and stayed there too.
