I had the pleasure of staying here for a few nights shortly after it opened. It’s completely different from any hotel I’ve stayed at before. The interior is so tastefully designed, with cozy communal areas and even a kitchen you can use. The beds are amazingly comfortable. The location is fantastic, right in the heart of the historic city. The stunning murals throughout the neighborhood are an attraction in themselves. I’ll definitely be coming back!

We had a great stay at MERAKII! Everything was great from start to finish. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and we could always count on them whenever we needed anything. We loved the spectacular location, which offered easy access to hiking and snorkeling. The gardens on the property are beautiful , and there are incredible sunset views over the Caribbean from the pool. It is a totally relaxing atmosphere. The hotel staff are friendly and attentive. The rooms are comfortable and well-appointed,as well as immaculately clean. The food is delicious. We especially loved the local specialties in the menu and enjoyed the selection of bush rums.

My wife and I recently spent a wonderful week at Cap Juluca. We have been to many places in the Caribbean, and I can honestly say that this was one of the most relaxing and enjoyable places we have ever stayed. The beachfront accommodations are beautiful, up-to-date, with our rooms well-maintained by Ramona and her associates, and with additional special touches as expected at a luxury resort of this caliber. The beach itself is outstanding, with powdery white sand, sparkling clear water without seaweed or any trash, and with reserved loungers and umbrellas for guests so there is no rush to stake out a spot on the beach. The staff taking care of us on the beach were particularly friendly and fun, with cool drinks, sorbet, and cool towels routinely offered. Also noted and appreciated was the fact that the hotel does not allow visiting boats to anchor along the beach all along the shore by the accommodations, and enforces a strict policy that they cannot play music or make any loud noise when stopping in the harbor area, something that many resorts never consider or enforce. The restaurants are all top notch as well. Standouts for us were dinner at Cip’s with Raechel (?), and the multi room wide selection of fresh foods at the morning buffet. Never a bad meal all week with PImms, Uchu, and the Cap Shack all distinctly great, with relaxing ambiance and great service. The spa was also excellent. Treatments were exactly what we requested and provided by obviously professional well trained therapists. Facilities were beautiful and well maintained. We also used the fitness center which has up to date top of the line equipment well maintained. We also enjoyed having bikes available all around the property for everyone, making it fun and easy to get around. We would like to specifically mention our personal concierge Deandre. He was always available and helpful, with prompt responses and flexibility regarding any of our requests.

The pool and view are amazing. The orchard path (not suitable for those with bad mobility) was fun to explore and we got to eat some fresh fruit picked right from the tree. Breakfast was really excellent, served right by the pool with the wonderful view. The rooms were very nice with lots of space and the WiFi worked well. They were able to work with me and communicate even though I speak very little French.

So many shops, and restaurants, all within walking distance, Everyone was so nice and helpful. What a Beautiful place to stay. We stayed at the Scuba Lodge, It was nice to charge food to your room, or stop in for a drink in the bar. There is so much going on in the evening time and so many things to do and see. There is a lot of pride on their island. Was hoping to find the pigs and flamingos, but was unsuccessful, but did see some beautiful sites and outstanding beaches while looking for them. Oer all an A+++ Highly recommended. Oh and I highly recommend going on the Aquafari, it was amazing to see the fish and sea life. Eating at El Goucho Steakhouse was Delicious, and the view was and ambience was amazing . Everywhere we went the ambience was a coffee house style. Wonderful!!!! And do take time to go to the Distillary, It was fun and educational. I highly recommend the Iguana Cafe outdoor eating by the Queen Anne Bridge.

Plenty of parking on the street you don't have to stay at a hotel on the beach to be there and there are trees you can sit under for free if you don't want to pay for chairs. It is as beautiful as any beach I have ever been on. Pristine white sand with good surf/ waves warm ocean water.

The way to relax was the most inportant thing for me & my family. I dont have any complain 1. The vieuw of the Slave Houses at the Salt Refinery 2. Ive eaten by Karels Restaurant & the Pier 3. Kralendijk was easy to get around it 4. Sight seeing or driving aroud the Island easily (with any GPS system)

One of my favorite spots in Oranjestad was Aruba Experience Café. It has such a warm, welcoming vibe that makes you want to stay longer than planned. The coffee is great, the food feels fresh and made with care, and there’s something very authentic about the whole place. It really gives you a taste of the island, not just in flavor but in atmosphere. Definitely a place I’d go back to.

Roseau was great and I thoroughly enjoyed Ti kwen glo, Titou Gorge Fall , Hot Spring, Da'Scape, and Trafalgas falls. However, I loved Red Rock in Calibishie, and Portsmouth in northern part of the island.

Love every moment of my trip which was due to the fact that my Dad resides on the island. We celebrated his 97th Birthday! My favorite places to visit was the beach and a few restaurants.. I enjoyed staying at the Blue Orchid Hotel , the fact that it was fitted with a neat little kitchen was very accommodating. For me the view from my room, was the exception. Be prepared, however for the heat and the mosquitoes, but a trip to the beach and some mosquito repellant will handle both. Pura Vida!

We didn't rent a car and there is not much public transportation in the area. If you want to get places, you need to walk or take taxis, and they are expensive. But the town is interesting. Lots of restaurants, lovely marina and fishing port, as well as a market in the town centre. Some lovely beaches nearby, but you need a car.

Beautiful location Breakfast is mazing and so is the staff But, The Resort needs a little TLC - Upgrading lots of old spots that need to be address - example the pool tile has cracks, the chassis lounge chairs are very uncomfortable. The hand Rails though out have been painted so much that you have mold growing. Your Pool side towel service was unacceptable no one to get or return tools had to go to the front desk a number of times. Also on last night of stay our A/C went out and we had no A/C for the night and the bedroom got very warm
