Always LOVE staying here. The hotel itself is very modern and fresh looking, and this very much applies to the rooms too. Comfortable beds, nice bathroom, plenty of space. The breakfast here is always one of the best I’ve had at hotels, and is something we always look forward to when we know we are coming to stay here. Staff are also very helpful and the bar area is large.

The hotel is an easy drive into Bury St Edmunds. The grounds are pretty and the staff though scarce were friendly.

I have stayed at this hotel before and had a stunning room at the back of the hotel in the gardens. This time, the whole experience was extremely disappointing. I had room 1, it’s the noisiest room I have ever experienced in any hotel. The traffic outside kept me awake most of the night. The room was old and tired with a cracked shower which took forever to heat up. This room is not suitable for a relaxing stay or a good night sleep. I only ever saw one member of staff, we had to check ourselves out which felt very impersonal.

Easy walk to beachfront. Washing machine was a hit. Joanne was very helpful. Quiet location.

Poor quality of breakfast,burnt fat used to cook eggs and bacon,sausages and hash browns cooked in deep fat fryer,cold beans.Booked 2 nights could not getaway quick enough,only stayed 1 night.Avoid at all costs
