Friendly and helpful hosts, let us know they were there if we had any questions or problems without intruding on our holiday. The park was quiet and well kept. The lodge was warm, very comfortable and well equipped, and the bedding and towels were lovely and fresh. We loved the hot tub! There were some essentials; bread, milk, eggs, butter and washing up liquid in the caravan for our arrival which was much appreciated. The smart tv was fab on grey days. And it was great to have a washing machine and not come home with a bag of dirty laundry! WiFi worked well which was a lifesaver because I had no mobile signal on site (I had expected this going by previous visits to the area). We would definitely book a return visit.

There was very little to fault, but if I was being picky (and I am a clean freak!) I would suggest that the oven trays and air fryer are checked/cleaned between guests and the sofa (sooo comfortable!) could use a shampoo. Some of the lights didn't work or had bulbs missing. But there were no major issues that would prevent us from booking another stay.

The room smelt as soon as you walked in like sewage. Cold as windows were left open to air the smell. The bedding was creased. Stains on furniture and behind the dresser in the bedroom. The noise was bad outside on a busy road so constantly hearing people shouting. In the building people coming in late being loud also. Parking facilities crap expensive for the car park and the street parking. Also local takeaways crap ordered food and it came cold. Wouldn’t book again.

We missed having a tea towel or kitchen roll to dry crockery. It would be good to have a chair or suitcase stand in the bedroom. If you have any mobility issues you should be aware there are about 9 steep steps at the entrance.

Lightning in the room was dark so not great for ladies make up etc. We did have a few minor issues which we feedback to the management. Unfortunately on a Monday and Tuesday evening if you want to eat in and relax you only have a choice of curry, this should be reviewed and a small selection of other options need to be considered for residents.
