The staff were welcoming and helpful, the young girl on reception booked a taxi for us when we needed it and the girl on breakfast duty filled my water bottle without any bother. The bar staff were friendly and chatty. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The choice of food was really good, very tasty and well presented.

I'd probably take my own pillow next time as the one provided was a bit too plump. Apart from that everything else was great.

Staff was great and owner was responsive. Had some issues with the lights at first, but the owner was quick to respond and help. Location was great--near bus stop, shops, markets, and train station. Needed some privacy for a few days and exactly got it in this room.

Not really a con but you have to ask them for the real wifi password because the one written on the instructions in the room was outdated. Bathroom had a bit of a pipe-y smell to it, but it goes away after showering and was otherwise clean. My only major concern is that the beddings also had a certain smell to it that made me doubt whether or not they washed it after the last user. Otherwise, the flat was very complete--had everything you needed.

The hotel takes dogs and there are plenty of green spaces to walk them .

Being told on arrival at 3pm that because we hadn't booked for lunch that the hotel did not have enough food for us to dine at anytime although they have signs on the road inviting outside guests to visit.

Bit let down as a painter contractor who has contracts maintaining Hilton and forest holiday resorts the decor in our bathroom was poor needed sorted and also in public staircase for a great hotel it needs to keep up a high standard in all areas
