  Breakfast there was plenty of options . I booked this place because we had a 12 week old puppy and wanted to socialise and meet other people and dogs . The country park was well worth a visit . The lakes were stunning to sit and listen watch the world go by with a glass or two of wine . There was a function on in the evening there but the staff provided for everyone. Meals were lovely and we sat with a well behaved puppy next to us on the floor in the bar . Overall we enjoyed our stay , our time was to relax and chill and we did just that . Main road was close but did bother us to the front of the hotel . We would return to inn on the lake

  This is a beautiful wee place in a lovely location. It is extremely well equipped with a very comfortable bed and great shower. The owners were really proactive with communications and were on hand to help with any queries. Lovely hotel/bar/restaurant just a few minutes walk away. Would highly recommend a stay.

  The location was great and free parking a real bonus. The bed was very lumpy but surprisingly comfortable and we slept really well.

  Sadly the bathroom wasn't as clean as I would expect. There was dust and debris behind the bathroom door, the toilet brush exterior was covered in bits of toilet paper and a used cotton bud and other bits were visible on the floor either side of the sink unit. The kitchen was understocked - just one beer glass and one prosecco glass - neither suitable for the wine I had taken. The 2 mugs were really stained and the only cleaning cloth was a used foam scrubber.
