Welcome by a very friendly team, shown to my room, not directed.. When I opened the door, there was light music playing on the radio a fully stocked mini bar and snacks. The place was immaculate and very homely, king sized bed that was comfortable. Large bathroom with a bath and large shower. I ate in the bar and the food was very good and not overpriced. Very quiet at night. The breakfast was lovely, clearly made with local produce and plenty of it.. I use this word rarely, but outstanding is the only way to describe this place.. I will stay again without doubt.

Absolutely lovely hotel. The room and bathroom were spacious and spotless. The staff were friendly, courteous and helpful. The breakfast was fantastic, and the location was reasonably good. The car park was full when we arrived, but the receptionist explained how we could squeeze in.

This is not a criticism, just an observation - it's about a 10-12 minute walk in to town, down some steep steps, although I believe there are buses too (we just walked though).

The location is ideal when you booked tickets for Harry Potter Warner Bros Studios. You can walk to the studio. What I liked the most was the way the host is helpfull when something went wrong. You realy can rely on the host.

The communication with the host was good. The hair dryer was not working and we got a replacement the same day.

It was not very clean. The sofa, bed headboard and walls had multiple stains so it needs some deep cleaning/painting. During the night, you could hear people shouting outside, but I guess you could expect that in a flat in Newcastle city centre.

I have a heel injury so struggle with stairs. But was put on the top floor/last room and was agony trying to get my case,up 6 flights of stairs! The bed was uncomfortable,the bathroom tiny.
