Although the keys were in the key safe, which we had the code for, Shirley met us for a nice chat as we arrived. The property is right on the front overlooking the bay, it is so well furnished and beautifully clean. We arrived when there was a rare heatwave and it was amazing, making evening strolls very relaxing. Mallaig is gorgeous, with nice gift shops, cafes, bars and a generally nice feel. The train journey to Fort William was a highlight of our stay, the Heritage Museum was interesting. Arisaig was more than worth a visit. Our plan was to get the ferry to Skye but we didn't book it in time, nevertheless the road trip there was just as lovely. We would do it all again x

Nothing to dislike, beautiful.

Perfect location, just coupel of steps away from the railway station and close to the city centre. A good Bazilian restaurant "all you can eat" next door.

You can easilly hear the conversation from the next room. Breakfast was poor. The choice and quality of the products served was very bad. There was some packed food with expired date.

Not that I didn't like it because of this but just an observation that the hotel is in some parts looking very much it's age and could definitely do with some work being done to fix it up a bit

It was hard to have windows open due to street noise (didn’t realize the street it’s on is a pretty busy thoroughfare). But we were able to sleep OK.

Spotlessly clean and really well thought out. Everything you need is there.

Love the roof top bar especially on a warm day.

They charged you for a bottle of water without asking. They automatically bring you water and charge you for this and we thought it was tap water in a bottle.
