Beautifully decorated and large rooms. The bathtub was a threat. Great location in the oban city center. Parking on site (pre-book it) was also very convenient. A lot of nice details were very much appreciated: bath salts, gin tonics, usb chargers...

The flat was perfect, we love Oban, the weather was great too. Lovely places to eat and walk. The rotunda, McCaig's folly was so interesting too. Fab fish at Ee usk.pp

The fact that the 68 steps to the flat was not divulged until I paid, was very distressing as we three are all elderly and not too fit! Keep it open and honest!

It's a dated property and like so many others I know it's a bttle to stay in business let alone invest. The whole village feels to be on a downward trend, there is very little there. There are hostels which cost less and provide similar I'm afraid.

The room we were given (for 2 people) was tiny (barely enough space to walk around the bed) and literally right next to reception; you could hear *everything* going on as the walls were paper thin and the distance was about 5 feet. When we then paid to "upgrade" to a "King" room, it was *exactly* the same size, but the bathroom was *half* the size. The only thing better was not being next to the reception. Finally got moved to an *King* deluxe room the next day, could tell the difference - *much* bigger, nicer bathroom, bigger bed, but were told later that they are both deluxe rooms somehow???
