The house is wonderful - very spacious, full of light, modern but cosy and very clean. Not right in the historical centre but at walking distance, and 5 minutes from a wonderful walk by the river Cam, in a quiet street. Instructions on how to access the house and recommendations about everything we needed were extremely clear and helpful. Communication with the host was great.

The only issue, if one is sensitive to noise, is that when it rains heavily in the night the rain sounds very loud as the bedroom is upstairs right under the roof. But this can easily be solved with earplugs when it happens.

Great central location, lovely newly renovated flat. So new there were still stickers on many things! Helpful owner when we had something to sort out. Would definitely recommend.

It was a bit inconvenient that you have to park away from the property. Nothing can be done, that's just the location. Just an issue if you have a lot of stuff to transport.

I thought the apartment was a little austere, a welcome book with recommendations from previous visitors would have been good. It would also have been good to have some of the history of the apartment and maybe some old photographs could be displayed in the hallway leading to the bedrooms. I also felt a more welcoming welcome pack could be included- especially some good coffee ( and a cafetière) The oven settings not as easy as we thought, we put the grill on instead of the oven, didn’t matter as we were cooking sausages! But anything else may not have been so forgiving.
