Very friendly staff. Good choice for 1-2 nights stay. The aircon wasn’t working in the hotel. No fridge in the room. Had to ask at the reception to store our food in their kitchen fridge. Very good and serene location. Large free parking However visitors slamming doors till late and also early morning hours ( perhaps living early to catch their flights). So, couldn’t get good sleep. Floor needs fixing- you can hear people walking in the other rooms. Was too tired to visit the gym- so, can’t comment on this facilities

Everything the staff, location, food. Loved the Gin and Tonic in the room and then around 5.30 ice and lemon is delivered to your room. Loved this hotel and will definitely be returning.

Fantastic hosts and great welcome pack. The little touches were on point, and the accommodation was clean and spacious.

The kitchen facilities were lacking, we like to cook when self catering and misunderstood there was no combination microwave oven, and to be honest, an air fryer would have sufficed. There was no soundproofing in the property, and we could hear the owners walking around below and making a cup of tea, which made us conscious we could be heard. Lastly, WiFi is available, but not enough to stream.. There was no satellite or ariel, so there was no way to watch a bit of TV. This information was not available when booking and can therefore be seen as misleading. Carys advised us that WiFi was poor when checking us in, leading us to believe the hosts were aware WiFi strength is an issue with guests. This is one of 6 stays on our Scotland trip, yet this was the only one that couldn't meet the above. I don't want to be seen as complaining as not everyone looks for what we want, as demonstrated in previous comments, however, if you want the same things as we do, we found the property lacking in the above areas.
