Decent parking, very big room and decent bathroom. Bed was very comfy! Everything was nice and clean. Plenty of amenities within immediate walking distance of the hotel. With my Booking.com Genius discount I only paid £40 for the room so wasn't quite sure what to expect, but was very happy with what we got for our money.

Restaurant was closed when we got there which was around 7:30pm, wasn't a massive issue, we just went to the Tesco next door and there's a pub in walking distance too, but had we known in advance we'd have probably stopped on route for something, I don't recall seeing anything on the booking page to say it wouldn't be open, it was a Sunday but a bank holiday weekend so was a little surprised it was shut.

The two bedrooms are connecting. You have to go through one to get to the other and that is not made clear on the description. Only one small towel each. We really needed two keys but weren’t able to have them.

Unhelpful & uninterested staff. Room looked out on a building site. Ground floor & directly off the reception so noisy from traffic, people outside & people in reception (mostly staff). Room not secure- ground floor window didn’t close & flimsy door lock- no lock on bathroom. People smoking cannabis outside bedroom window. No copy of signed check-in doc given & no offer of receipt.
