Very handy for Donington Park for BTCC race day and coming from the direction of Melbourne meant we got into the circuit Main Entrance in the morning without getting stuck (a friend coming from the motorway spent an hour in traffic). Comfy bed and room was large with nice hot shower, tea and coffee making in the room and toiletries. We also ate there in the evening and service was friendly, food good and recommend booking as there was only one other table free. All the staff were friendly and working hard to make our stay pleasant.

Room felt cold when we first walked in but was warm as we went to bed. Obviously a pub, and didn’t bother us, but there was some noise from the pub which could be heard in the room

Gorgeous house that was not at all like a usual rental house, an actual home from home! Lovely furnishings, bedding, and decor, comfortable beds and super clean. House in a lovely location for my friends and I to get together and have a catch up without having to run off to get trains etc. Lovely choice of local restaurants and pubs. The hosts were friendly and helpful. Will be back!

The location was very suitable, being convenient to the bus route and in a quiet residential area. Adam was most helpful in every way. Our unit was not large, but it had everything we needed, including fridge, oven, wardrobe, ensuite shower room, table and chairs, all of a very high standard. Toiletries, tea, coffee, milk, sugar, etc. were supplied..

The room was lovely and clean. The bed was very comfortable. The facilities in the room were good too. The owner is a lovely lady and the staff in the restaurant are really lovely too. Breakfast was tasty and well cooked witha good vegetarian option. Lovely location on the market Square close to all the pubs and restaurants for the night time.

If you have an Electric car and expect to charge it at this hotel you might need to think again. The policy they have is beyond anything you could imagine. First come first served you get a card to activate the charge and that’s it easy you are thinking. Once you have the card if you’re willing to pay the fee you keep it for your length of stay and nobody else can use or even park in the electric bays without a £100 fine. So the bays could be empty all day as the people have kept the cards but as there are only 4 bays with 4 cards you cannot use them. I was told to keep coming back to reception to see if someone had been kind enough or even considered thinking of other people, I think not as a hybrid car was on charge for the whole 27 hours off are stay But if you ask at reception they will kindly give you the postcode for another charging point in the bay.

Room & bathroom tiny, heating cane in late at night was already asleep when it cave on so burnt my leg as the radiator was ringer next to the bed. Incredibly high step on entering the room.
