Great stay at The Nook in Saltburn. Geoff, contacted us personally before our arrival and pulled out all the stops to get us into the property before our actual check in time. Was there to meet us on arrival and talked us through all the need to knows about the property. The personal touch was a welcome change from contactless arrival. A beautiful accommodation with amazing views and a stone throw away from all the local attractions. Will definitely be coming back again. Thank you Geoff and family.

Great value for money, does what it says on the tin. As in a room with facilities and a bit quirky. I stayed in the orange room. Perfect for a night stop as in my case I was catching a ferry. Acces is via outside door and room door using combination pad door locks, which Mark messaged me so they were saved to the phone.

I bumped my head going down the stairs but then I am 6'3". Could do with more explanation about parking as main road has restricted times and side street parking you need a permit that I later found in the room which is valid for 12 hours.

location of the property is convenient to walk into the centre. Bed and size of room are always good. speedy check in process and due dilligance (ID checks etc) are always good and cleanliness of room always good.

The room was way too hot. Whilst there is no air conditioning in the room(s) and no-one can control the weather, there are other measures which can be taken to keep a room cool on hot days. Closing the curtains, controlling flow of air, even having a fan in the rooms. Open the windows (where applicable). Sadly nothing seemed to have been done to keep the room cool. Not a pleasant time at the point of entering the room and ensuring a decent sleep. In addtion, with the room facing the main road, a lot of traffic noise through the night (maybe consider triple glazing).

What was not to like. Lovely property in a nice area, close to station, local shops, bars and restaurants. Fantastic pub opposite. Great host.

The breakfast was fine. It was overall good. Supper was a bit of a disappointment.

The room had very thin walls and my neighbour snored!

Central location, clean room, modern amenities, 24 hour desk.

The repair work going on (which I was warned about) made the place look a bit shabby in the hallway but the room itself was perfect.

The quirkiness of the place, felt really nice. Comfy bed.

The heat of the room!! It was absolutely roasting. Non of the switches on the wall worked for the cooling system. Windows only opened a fraction. Had the fan on full blast for the whole duration. Only 16.5*c outside and rainy so don’t understand why it was so hot. Would definitely return and bring some shorts 😅

Rooms are very small, the room we had on the 6th floor was also noisy (airco unit outside)
