The hotel has been refurbished and looks great. The staff were very friendly and looked after our luggage, so we could go off exploring. Close to everything. The room was modern, and clean, and the bed was comfortable to sleep in. Breakfast was limited but adequate.

The room was tiny. Had to climb over each other to get in and out of bed. Smallest hotel room I have ever been in.

Beautiful property to stay in, good facilities and comfy beds. Great location for Bishop Stortford train station and town centre. We have family who live within walking distance.A little shop and restaurants on your doorstep.

Tricky parking and no charger for electric car. Luckily we could park at family’s house nearby. Bolton Wanderers lost at Wembley!

The location was great. The house was clean. BUT, the breakfast was nonexistent. Small cereal box without milk, jam but no bread and a few teaspoons of instant coffee. THIS IS A SELF CATERING!

We booked a B&B but basically found a self catering accommodation. For 2 people/ 2 days there were 4 small boxes of cereal but no milk, 4 pads of jam but no bread and a few teaspoons of instant coffee. We had to find a store to purchase breakfast that was supposed to be included. For the price we paid, that was very disappointing!!!

We liked the room, was very nice and clean. Good view from the room to the park.nice area and main building, wellness, friendly and polite staff.

When we arrive we got a room in a panel house, like a prison block, we were surprised when saw it after you can see pictures in booking.com. Maybe some paiting and flower could help. No buffet style dinner..too much waiting for the meal, you can choose from the menu for £29/person and no drink included.

They didn’t have the room that I had booked and paid for and expected a family of 3 to share a bed. The room was booked and paid for 3 months in advance. People literally talking and laughing in the corridor all night so got no sleep whatsoever!!

Very loud, you can hear music and chatter, no chamber maid service, TV doesn’t work, no milk or fridge for morning tea, no hangers for clothes. If Schitt’s Creek is your thing then it is perfect. I travelled solo from the other end of the world for a funeral and needed somewhere to sleep and thankfully had noise cancelling headphones for the weekend
