Lovely building, amazing nature and well kept grounds with lots to explore and fun activities. Amazing breakfast and dinner staff, nothing was too much trouble. The bartender at the not cocktail bar was great too. Room was spacious with great view and comfy bed.

We had spare bed in the room next to the window, preventing us to move freely, although it was only two of us. Receptionist was very confusing with our dinner deal and our bill, had to ask several questions to make it clear. Easily resolved with another receptionist however it was frustrating. The pool area is not very well maintained, female changing rooms toiletries were empty had to request to be filled up to be able to have shower. The leisure attendants were scrubbing and cleaning around the pool the jacuzzi and throwing the dirty water around me while inside the jacuzzi, not very professional at all, whilst another two were cleaning the male changing rooms obstructing the way for my partner to enter and exit without yellow sign being put up, cables lying around the pool while cleaning too. I understand that you’re trying to clean the spa but it shouldn’t be done while guests are around and it’s busy. Overall amazing stay if you exclude spa.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was large and handicapped accessible, which is commendable, however this made the sink extremely low for us, plus it was very small. The location is excellent.
Negative section of review
The bed was unfortunately uncomfortably hard.

Perfect location if not traveling with too many bags as the airport is walking distance. Very handy for nights before departure and or late arrival. Staff were very friendly.

There is nothing to dislike. Met all my needs.

+ location is very good + dorm room offers lot of space + they offer free milk including a dairy-free one + nice living room
Negative section of review
- quite expensive for a 12 bed mixed dorm room (but I guess that's Oban/the Highlands) - no lockers - no separate little bathroom with toilet and sink
Positive section of review
Great location, clean room, accommodation was good value for money.
Negative section of review
There was quite a lot of noise coming from upstairs late at night and early morning, which disturbed our sleep. The restaurant dinner was disappointing. The haggis bonbons were OK, but the lentil soup was too salty to eat and the portion of lasagna was too small even for a child. It was not good value for money.

Nice room, good location, nice staff. Good breakfast.

Soft close doors on the rooms would have made for a better sleep. The single beds are tiny.

Good location. Pleasant enough room.

Breakfast on Monday morning was chaotic. No plates, tables not cleared and relaid. Ran out of coffee and food. Long waits for more food. My husband waited at least 20 mins for more food to be replaced. Only one member of staff initially. Replaced by two others and they had to keep apologising. Food that was in the containers was cold. Ran out of staple food like beans (in the kitchen). All in all a chaotic unsatisfactory experience.
