- “The modern retro look in room and the amazingly decorated corridors made this place my favorite hotel. I had the luck of getting an airside room and could see nighttime operations on the runways. Certainly a place an AVgeek would love. The small touches like postcards in room and great amenities like shaving razor and cream were much appreciated. The "secret" rooftop terrace where you could sit and watch operations at the airport 24/7 was wonderful. Staff were all lovely - one manager was even greeting people outside and leading them in to the lobby.”

The best is you can see the sea from your bed. The morning is beautiful. The best place for breakfast is only 50 meters from the house. Many good restaurants are 5 minutes by walk.”

  One of the best feature of the hotel is the spa facilities, highly recommended, with steam room, sauna, salt room, hydro pool etc, I could have stayed all day. Comfy bed and a quiet and good nights rest room size was larger than expected for a standard room, I will certainly return.

  There was a fowl odour as you entered reception, smelt like sewage from the adjacent toilets. Not a good first impression. Duty manager on reception wasn't very accommodating with not allowing even an extra hour for late checkout although he knew I'd arrived at 3am in the morning. So missed breakfast to try getting my full quota of sleep.

  Always love staying here! The staff are friendly and absolutely loving the breakfast. The location with the large garden is great with the view of the lake which is a nice place to sit back and enjoy a few drinks and a bite to eat

  The shower we had lost pressure and went extremely hot.we reported this as concerned it could happen again but felt the member of staff laughed it off with the suggestion we had a great view.!

  Heating was broken and a radiator provided we couldnt plug in as the wire was too short to reach the plugs in the kitchen area. No plugs at all in the living area. Randon lamp standing in living room we couldbt use as no plugs to plug it into No internet as the password provided was incorrect. Tried calling and messaging but no answer so was left with no heating and no internet with a 8 month old baby with health issues. Not ideal. We have contacted the company since and they are not really interested. No apology no partial refund. We had to go out and buy an extension lead to plug in the heater as there was no other way to warm up. It was that or go home. We have not even been refunded for the extension lead. No loo roll. No personal touch. Would avoid this company and hire a van from someone who actually uses it themselves.. Leak under toilet so try not to slip every time you enter the bathroom. Wood work in the living area rotten. Have photos. I would avoid this van until it's been updated and repaired.

  I spent there one night. Next day I looked like one big bubble. I’ve been bitten all over my body by bedbugs. My skin itchy even now when I write this review. Horrible experience.
