The room was well maintained and clean. We had dinner and lunch in the main hall and the food came promptly. Not spicy enough for my tastes, but generally good. The meeting facilities were nicely equipped and internet speeds were fast.

The bartender was nice but the price of drinks were on the high side of things. £27 for a a double whiskey on the rocks and rum and coke is a bit much.

It is a beautiful rural location with plenty of outdoor sitting space. The sitting room has windows all round so if there is any sunshine, it steams through the windows.

There is no getting away from the fact, the cabin is "cosy". The kitchen has limited preparation space and the double bed is squeezed into the bedroom with little room to slide down either side. Whilst I can understand being asked to leave used towels in a basket, I was somewhat disconcerted to be requested to strip the bed as well. Perhaps this is a left-over from the post covid arrangements. Tricky location - the map shown on the booking.com printout is very misleading.

It was close to where I was attending an event. I was at Goodwood Members Meeting. The staff were friendly. The bar had a good atmosphere. I would go again.

Clean. Good facilities. Everything worked. The wifi code was really well signposted (so rare!)

Could hear people in other rooms until around 11pm ish. The water from the shower was great pressure but scalding hot in the morning and the screw for it needs resetting on that shower. I did leave reception a message about that (nb I like a hot shower, but this was burning).

Room description said bathrobes and slippers in room but there weren't any. Only one choice of T-bags in room, no de-caf but that is personal preference. Bathroom smelt of urine.
