      Balmridge House is run by a lovely couple Jane and Jim. Upon arrival we entered a very cosy and homey B&B with a very nice view of the sheep. There is a lot tender & love and care added to all small details in the room. Cooked Breakfast is wonderful and the coffee is delicious. Jane will patiently explain you all the routes and is a wonderful and open person. Thank you for making us feel at home and keep the passion! Warmest regards Julian& Karen

      Not sure where to start - upon entry to the apartment, there was a random towel/tea towel strewn on the floor. The Bathroom has smelt like cabbage/mould since we got here. There was dried snot on the bedroom wall. TV in living room doesn’t connect to WI-FI therefore, not a smart TV. The wifi is poor. There were hairs in the bathroom. Basically, it seemed the housekeeper came in, changed the bed and left. Carpets/walls are stained to high heaven. The apartment has a kitchen but no cutlery or anything to stir your tea with/no sugar. The sofa is rock hard and the cushions were all filthy / stank of BO. Spiders all over the place near windows/corners. Overall, it’s a lack of care and lack of attention to detail, like no lamps in the bedroom/living room - the place feels very bare and poorly kept, it could be great, and I can imagine it was when it first opened however, this is my first ever stay in a hotel where I’ve left a bad review. Wouldn’t return on that basis.
