Clean bathroom, bedlinen and towels, plenty of hot water, convenient central location by station, quiet, some stylish design touches, tea and (instant) coffee provided. Check-in was straightforward although the lockbox wasn't numbered as suggested - it's the top one of the two. Newly done up - so much so that some items were still in their packets!

The floor wasn't clean - it seemed like the cleaners had struggled to remove the glittery remains of previous hen party occupants. A few additions would improve comfort: somewhere to hang towels, a bathmat and hand towel, a blind on the window, a kitchen bin, a shower rack for bottles, enough toilet paper for the duration of the stay. The shower doors don't quite close. There's only a little natural light from one small window. The area is quiet but noise from others in the building carries so consider earplugs. The aromatiser was overpowering for the small space - plugged in behind the microwave if you want it off! We couldn't find the wifi details. The staircase and corridor areas felt neglected.

Lovely apartment, well kept and clean. Quiet location and great amenities. I liked the fresh bread and selection of jams on arrival, ready for breakfast in the morning. Would wholehearted recommend! Only stayed a couple of nights, but wished it could have been longer to explore Lomond more!

I liked the location. It had good access to public transport and food. I felt like I was only a 30minute walk from most tourist attractions.

It was noisy, cramped and no block-out curtains, so the room was very light. I thought it was very expensive and felt a bit like student accommodation.

Great sized bedroom and bathroom Staff couldn’t have been more friendly but willingness did not equate with execution. Room clean.

Bed creaked. No shelves near sink or bath. Nowhere around bath to put soap etc. The price charged ( expensive) does not equate with the facilities offered. Breakfast was lack lustre and had to search out a member of staff to get a hot drink. They were busy vacuuming. They are not a “hotel” but a pub offering accommodation. Wifi unreliable. No decaffeinated options for hot drinks in room. So called beer garden a building site. I couldn’t even get a fresh ( as opposed to powdered) decaf coffee in the pub.

The cold water ran out. I went to complain at reception and a member of staff said that they were experiencing some problems due to the pub being very busy. I was told that the water would return and it did after about half an hour. This was not a serious problem for us but the implication was that the problem was a known factor yet no one mentioned it when we checked in. As I said above, we have stayed here before and have been very content but the water problem has put us off using this pub again.

Poor breakfast, had to pay for a decent coffee, or cooked breakfast. Bathroom small with shower in bath and nothing to hold on to. Having said this, we were originally on top floor and they changed us to bottom floor which we preferred. Poor toilet paper.

Easy check in and out so quick , extremely comfortable beds .

Too warm in the night , fan meter on wall was not active to use . Extremely clean room but inside the bathroom door looked stained and was very grubby looking , not dirt but stained .
