Our room and the adjacent bathroom were clean and supplied with all necessities. Overall very cosy and inviting :) We found the hosts very kind and hospitable, always making sure we had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. They were very helpful with figuring out what places we should see and how to get there using public transport, which was great as this was our first visit to London. The cute pets were an added bonus, we almost wished we could bring Harry the dog back home with us :) Overall a 10/10 experience :)

Located a few miles from central London, but very easy to catch a train from the nearby station :)

We were surprised at how spacious the room was. There were 3 of us and most hotels did not have 2 beds. This one had a bed and a sofa bed. The sofa bed was in an area next to the kitchen which allowed for even more space. The bed and sofa bed were comfortable and the kitchen area was large. The room was very clean and the bathroom was nice. The staff was very helpful and friendly. We arrived early and they watched our luggage and made sure it was safe and secure while we explored London.

Staff - reception and restaurant - were excellent. Bed very comfortable. Had dinner and breakfast in the restaurant and impressed with both. One of the best hotels we’ve stayed in for a long time especially in this price range.

Chris was very very helpful! We were having car trouble and it meant we’d be arriving past check in time but he reassured us he would be there to check us in whenever we arrived. Thank you Chris!

A lot of odd stairs as very old building wouldn't be great for someone who struggles mobility wise. Odd door from stairs leading from dining room that opens out towards stairs, very tight. Rooms in need of upgrade but I think that is reflected in the room rate.

Where do I start? I could not access the property as all doors were locked. Eventually, someone responded to me ringing the doorbell several times. Thankfully the heavens hadn't opened yet. Reception was tired and contained bits of old furniture piled up, which appeared to be waiting for disposal. I was then led down a corridor with piles of dirty sheets and towels on the floor. The room was small as expected for the price. I was looking forward to a cup of tea after my long drive, only to find two disposable plastic bags filled with sachets of sugar. No tea. No coffee. No milk. And one of the sugar sachets was used. I don't take sugar. I rang the number provided to request drinks making supplies. After delivering a teabag, the very pleasant gentleman seemed surprised that I would want milk. He returned some minutes later with a couple more teabags, four (unexpectedly generous) sachets of coffee and half a cup of fresh milk. As the afternoon was rather warm, and the milk didn't feel chilled, I felt unable to partake of the delightful beverages at my disposal. Off to the shower to prepare for my evening out. The shower was snug at best. There was no bathmat. The door to the shower didn't close so water covered the floor. There were no toiletries. Thankfully I always carry a supply of toiletries. The towels were too small to cover my modesty. The hotel is next to a very busy A road, and the airport, so double glazing would have been a bonus. Still, there was a bed, so not all negative. The hotel is tired, but cheap, so expectations were low. I think adding a compulsory service charge to the bill was a little cheeky.
