Our stay at The Bothy was perfect. One of the best cottages we have stayed in. Sarah and Deepak were the perfect hosts. Lots of advice about places to eat and visit etc. The cottage was stunning. Finished to a high standard and exceptionally clean. The kids loved being able to visit the animals and collect their own eggs for breakfast. We will definitely be booking for a longer stay.

The location is close to the center and all the sights of London, the bus stop is right in front of the hotel, the train and tube station is a 5 minute walk away.

I have never seen such an absurd place. Extremely dirty hotel. The room is small, as it says in the description, but there are no amenities, there is no place to hang your towel, but there is a kitchen stove. The heating is not regulated and at temperatures above 20 degrees the room was a sauna. The window does not open more than a span. We asked for assistance because the room smelled like marijuana from the bathroom, separately there are several open bars downstairs and it is absurd to sleep. The receptionist was very rude and arrogant, the response was literally "Tell me which room it's coming from and I'll look for them". They refused to change our room, even though there were vacancies in booking. The cleaners asked us every day when we were leaving. There is dust, the windows have never seen a rag, even the pillowcases were turned inside out. When checking out, another receptionist was lying with her feet on the desk, talking on the phone and did not greet us at all. Don't do it to yourself!

There was not much we didn't like. Just the television was in the wrong place, and it was on the other side of the room. Room 318: If you want to come back from an evening out and watch television for a little bit, you can't as it doesn't sit in front of the bed . Also it was very noticeable that the room wasn't clean I get its a high turn over etc but there was a coating of dust in the sink on top of mirrors picture frames etc ...I think it's just a little tierd and needs a refresh . One last thing pillows.. more comfy pillows as the bed was great.
