The breakfast was fantastic, there was everything you could have wanted. The hosts Niki and Mark couldn't do enough for us. We had a sea view room which was very clean and tidy with plenty towels and soap. The shower was good too. You only have to ask if you need extra of anything eg, tea,coffee, milk etc. The rooms are on the small side but big enough for myself and my husband. There is a small car park at the front of the hotel which is an added bonus.

Nicola had been generous and very thoughtful with supply of getting started food and drink items. This continued with array of toiletry items for the forgetful! The location was excellent for the historic sites, shopping and an easy walk from the railway station.

We liked the whole set up. Staff were helpful and the room was clean. The breakfast was always well presented and the staff dealt with any requests promptly. I would highly recommend the Grove as a great place to stay

Nothing to do with the Grove, but there were teenagers outside and cars and motorbikes were revving their engines. If one thing needed to be improved, I'd say, ask the teens to move away. Other than that, nothing else.

The view from the property was impressive. The donkey sanctuary next door is brilliant and well worth a visit. The lodge was clean and comfortable.

The site consists of many lodges it is tired and lacking TLC, outside furniture needs replacement across the whole site.

Accommodation was basic to say the least, tight twisty stairs had to be climbed to access apartment. No, WiFi, even in-house Alexa didn't work.
