I was very impressed by our room. You could tell it had been recently decorated and new carpet’s installed. It was very clean and perfect for our stay. We had booked a double and a single bed (family room) and was surprised to see that our room was split into two floors where a separate room for the single bed and the bathroom could be found. This was great and suited our needs. Staff were friendly and helpful. I would definitely book again. Whilst the car park is small there is free parking along the seafront so we parked easily.

The lift is tiny and only fits a maximum of three people. We had a stroller and was unable to use the lift as it wasn’t large enough to fit so we had to carry the stroller up three flights of stairs. If guests have a wheelchair or pram/stroller I would advise you contact the hotel first to see if they can meet your needs before booking.

The hotel is on the outside, not much to look at, but when inside, you can see its refurbishment is beautiful and has been done to a really high standard. The staff all of them from manger down are excellent big thank you to you all for lovely 2 days stay reception excellent bar restaurant staff excellent food excellent and all cleaning staff room and hotel spotless inside and out

Breakfasts lovely, coffee super, nothing too much trouble, couple of requests regarding room dealt with immediately. Spotlessly clean. Nice atmosphere. Very near to station and close to main high street and harbour, both an easy walk.

A bit more space in the room but then the building is old and you only actually sleep whilst in the room. I couldn't find anything to dislike.

It was clean nice and tidy. The owner was very welcoming. Could not help enough. Allowed us to bring takeaway and eat in the breakfast area. Friendly pub next door. Few decent takeaways minutes away.

Plenty of parking. Large and very comfortable room. A well appointed en suite with plenty of hot and cold water. Pleasant and helpful staff.

Our room had poor intermittent wifi particularly in the seating area. It proved impossible to download the morning paper.

The only thing I didn’t like is that you get an £100 deposit taken off which was actually more than our room but It’s not a big deal at all because you get that deposit back. I received mine back straight away.

We was on the ground floor , which was great because we had a pram, but we hardly had any sleep, because all we could hear was doors slamming which woke up our daughter several times, it was people coming in and out obviously not the property's fault but we wouldn't stay he again due to this which is a shame because the apartment was lovely , but with a child and the door noise we wouldn't return unfortunately

Didn't agree with paying for the facilities eg pool etc, never heard of anything so ridiculous, I booked it knowing there was a pool, I would have cancelled it, if I had known we had to pay I wouldn't have gone, thought it was disgusting. The view from the room was roof tops, very depressing I had asked for a nice room for our anniversary, so was Dissappointed. Room very tired.
