We had a wonderful relaxing stay at Penny's Mill. It's a beautiful converted mill in a pretty village. We enjoyed evening strolls around the castle minutes away from the property. Bill and Rosie were so helpful and welcoming. They gave us lots of advice about eating out in the local area and cooked the most delicious breakfasts. The room we had was very comfortable, prettily furnished and well supplied with everything we needed. We also had use of a drawing room which was a lovely place to relax in the evening. It was a wonderful base to explore the local area and we would definitely stay there again.

Nothing could be better. Rosie and Bill have put in a great deal of effort to anticipate the needs of their guests. Stay at Penny's Mill is just excellent.

The cutest little spot, bed was super comfortable, very clean, so quiet and relaxing, away from everything. Views were amazing over looking the mountains. Hot tub was unreal, so warm and again so comfortable. Plenty of privacy also it really is a hideaway. Colleen even provided a list of local takeaways that even deliver to the hideaway so that was brilliant, we were never stuck for anything, 10/10

Bathroom is a little small

Hotel was clean and comfortable, spacious room, good shower. Breakfast was lovely and the staff were great. There's a small car park round the back but when that was full we easily found a space on the road nearby. Would definitely stay here again.

Nothing much about the hotel. It's perhaps more reasonably priced than some other places in North Wales because Bala is a bit off the main tourist areas, but if you have a car it's very easy to get to places. The town had a lack of places to eat in the evening, this hotel and another were so busy by 7pm one night they couldn't cope with any more orders and even the chippy closed at 7.30!

Absolutely loved the decor, so unique and quirky. The staff were exceptional. So polite, helpful and friendly. Breakfast was fantastic. Loved the later check out and later breakfast times. Ideal for our stay.

Would have been helpful to say No 4, check-in was a little confusing trying to find the right apartment.

Bit far from town centre, need to detour to cross river ( not the host's fault of course)
