Positive section of review
Light breakfast and coffee provided, shower toiletries included, and very cosy beds! Our son liked the garden best, which has multiple sitting areas, great light, and lush flowers. We spotted many butterflies and had coffee outside every morning. The walk into city centre was easy and beautiful by the water. It was also a bonus to be in walking distance from the nature reserve, Carnac Point, and children’s play areas. We saw seals from Carnac Point on our last morning!

There are fragile (and very lovely) decorative items, but Marie didn’t seem to mind that we shifted them out of reach of our toddler. Just be aware in case you have a particular wild child - you may need to move a few things for your stay 🙂

- the sea view was beautiful - we spent the evening watching the tide going out and then coming back in after a long day travelling - the WiFi and sky TV was really good as it allowed it to feel like a home from home

Stay here quite frequently and the room is ideal for us, excellent kitchenette. Special mention for the cleaner who always has the room spotless. good pub food but restraunt is very popular so consider booking.

The Wifi does need to be improved in the rooms for television App use as it not good enough as it is. I have mentioned this before but nothing changes, it does need to as it is an important aspect of our stay here.

The staff were friendly. The place was beautifully decorated in keeping with the style and age of the place. It was well situated for walking into town.The bedroom was spacious and comfortable.

The food for the restaurant stated carvery but when we got to the serving area it was one meat or curry or vegetable ravioli which was a bit of a disappointment. The food in the bar looked ok though.

For this type of hotel it is one of the better ones I've stayed in. Good location about 10 minutes walk from Paddington station.

Breakfast is a bit limited but adequete and at least they serve breakfast, some hotels in the area do not. Internet connection is slow.

Note that the bathroom was shared by 3 rooms. However, very rarely did I have to wait to use the bathroom. Cleanliness of the bed could be a bit better. Although there were no bed bugs. Shower drain was clogged for a couple days, however, was quickly resolved in the course of one day. Bathroom was kept relatively clean every day.

The lighting in the big family bedroom was too gothic for my taste and it could do with having lower bedside lights which operated independently from each other.
