The only way to leave a review is to first make a booking. That's how we know our reviews come from real guests who have stayed at the property.
2
When guests stay at the property they check out how quiet the room is, how friendly the staff are and more.

After their trip, guests tell us about their stay. We check for naughty words and verify the authenticity of all guest reviews before adding them to our site.

John was an excellent host, warm, friendly and made sure our stay was an enjoyable one which it was. The room was excellent with comfortable bed, the bathroom and shower was huge, breakfast was amazing and the location was superb, so pleased we chose the the Kings and would not hesitate to book again!

Really great location and modern facilities. Comfy beds and plenty of clean linen and towels. Check-in was very easy.

There was no welcome pack or anything that introduced us to the local area. The only welcome material in the apartment was a biblical text. It would also have been nice to have some teabags etc left for us for check-in.

Just too many people. Lots of tourists going on trips ect. Not people staying in the hotel !! Waste bin in the foyer was overflowing with rubbish ( not a good first impression) my husband’s meal was cold , I ate my meal on my own while he waited for another hot meal. No compensation for this just a sorry. !!

The venue (pub/Hotel) has fantastic character.

Room 203 has the most unlevel floor I've ever seen and has 2 single beds that are on wheels, bed closest to the window literally glides across the floor when trying to sleep. Had a fire alarm drill at 3am and there was no organisation from the on duty staff member, was an absolute shambles. £109.00 for a city centre hotel sounds good, but when you literally can't sleep in a bed without it moving across the room it's a joke and I'm struggling to see where this value for money is with my stay. Still awaiting a response from the Hotel since I messaged 48 hours ago.

The street on which the property was located. It was like arriving in a slum area. I was reluctant to enter the house after driving up the street only to realise there was nowhere to park to unload the car. As for the outdoor sitting area among the weeds. Words fail me.

I am disabled and there were steps to all rooms, the signs are difficult to read due to the lack of contrast between background and letters, especially in poor lighting. Also they stop when you need them most. When i got to my room the chair collapsed and it took me 5mins to call help as there was no instructions on the phones and waited 30mins for someone to come and help but no one arrived so made my way to reception and then had a call saying whom ever answered the phone had not passed anything on. Room was too hot 22degrees, adjusted to target 17 but lots of noise from a vent but no cooling air all weekend. So stuck at 22, Even with windows open.
