Leading up to our arrival and from the minute we arrived we were warmly welcomed by the staff at Tower Hotel. The rooms were spotlessly clean and had everything you needed for a short stay. It’s in a perfect location and has a lovely outside (and inside) area to enjoy drinks. Breakfast was lovely and the staff couldn’t do enough for us, we were a party of 14 and they managed this perfectly. Thank you Tower Hotel for a fabulous stay, we can’t wait to stay again!

I liked everything about the property.

The hotel is close to the train station which it was very convenient and quiet during the night. The room was clean and bed was very comfortable. We had breakfast in the hotel which it was very tasty and with a lot of options.

Wonderful location within easy walk of Cambridge centre, handy to have the underground parking. Tea and Coffee was a nice touch

Couldn't find towels or proper bedding for the sofa bed which was a shame.

Someone used a key card to open my room at 9am the day of my check out. I had the inner lock on so they weren't able to access my room but the cleaning staff do not clean until you check out and it was too early for it to he another guest. I rang reception immediately and they did not pick up, i tried ringing them for over 25 mins with no answer, eventually when i went down to check out and told the person at reception all they said were "well i wasnt here at that time so i cant tell you why no one picked up but ill talk to the team later" there was no show of concern over someone having access to my room, they also were not helpful the night before when i needed help getting cash to pay my taxi back from wembley stadium at midnight after the card machine broke, i managed by doing a wire transfer. I've stayed at other crowne plaza before and the staff is always so nice and helpful so it was shocking to find out this particular hotel does not care about making guests feel safe or welcome. Do not recommend

We didn't realise that our door didn't lock until we got back early in morning. Phoned down someone came up but couldn't get it to lock, so ended up with a chair up against the door. Was told that morning that management would ring us as they weren't in! Still waiting on call, so don't rate management much either.

That during the email phase before arriving, Bloc never mentioned the crime issues within the car park located at the rear of their hotel - neither did the staff upon our arrival mention the issues of crime and theft of and from motor vehicles - during our one night stay our car was cannibalised whilst parked in the rear car park - appears to be a constant issues in the area and the hotel staff / management didn’t advise on parking issues
