We stayed for my partners birthday. We had stayed before during Covid, but it was lovely to be here without restriction. The room is really cool and classy - even the kettle is much better than your usual hotel offering and there’s a Robert’s radio! We had a balcony with sea view and a clean and fresh room. The bed was so comfortable. The staff is in the pub were great too and gave us much appreciated complimentary drinks for his birthday.

The location was fabulous for getting into Bowness and Windermere easily. Lovely place in a great location. It was a really great benefit having the option of using the off site health club and 10% discount off certain eateries.

The breakfast was lovely and the owner was very friendly and accommodating. Bed was very comfortable and had a nice size bathroom.

Since it is located on a very busy street we could not have the windows open for fresh air.... too noisy with all the cars. There was a fan that helped with the heat, however it would have been nice to have air conditioning .

Very basic room. One of the single beds was wonky so slept at a slant! No chair to use at the dressing table. No where to put toiletries in the bathroom. Poor quality pillows. People were smoking right out side the window. Very very noisy at 5am as the construction workers staying there were smoking and chatting right outside our window. Booked for two nights but checked out a day early.

Couldn't understand that when we tried to eat at Ramblewoods, we had to wait 1hr 20mins for a table when seven tables were available for that duration, so it didn't matter whether table's are empty.

Ensuite had mould on walls and ceiling. We ate in the restaurant and received one wrong main meal. Other than an apology no attempt was made to correct the error and we were still charged full price for the incorrect meal.

we had the pleasure of staying in the sister hotel at Lulworth Cove which was amazing. This was further to the other end of the spectrum. Electric power problems with no real info on resolution No toiletries in the room. Problems with supply management led to most of the food specials not being available.
