The hotel was lovely. Room was decorated nicely and everything was very clean. There was a powerful shower and also a lovely freestanding bath. Plenty of room to hang clothes. Staff were very pleasant and the breakfast was very nice with lots of choice. We stayed on a Friday night and weren’t disturbed by any noise from other guests / outside the hotel. With the discount code, parking was £9.50 for 24 hours which is a bargain in a city centre!

The only criticism I have is that the mirror fixed to the wall by the dressing table was too high to see into it when sitting down at the table. This was the only mirror near sockets, so for drying your hair / applying make up you need to stand up. I’m heavily pregnant so would have preferred to sit down!

These lodges were excellent, had a great time using the hot tub, fire pit and the room itself was clean, comfy and a great value for money! The location was brilliant and the staff were very welcoming and friendly. The room had great small touches for example the kitchen compliances and the food offered. There was also guest book which included recommended food places and sight seeing.

A really nice welcome on arrival. Lovely breakfast. (You are asked to provide your breakfast order the evening before). This is an old pub in a small village :)

There are four rooms. Two have en-suite and two rooms share a bathroom. I was a room that shared the bathroom. It's not that I didn't like it, it's just not ideal. Bathroom vey clean and spacious and close to the room. So really, no complaints, just pointing it out in the review for others.

The menu was a bit limited, we only liked one item so did not eat at the hotel on the second night. Quite expensive, made more so by the fact that parking is £1.80 per hour 08:00 - 16:00

There was no toilet roll as advertised. I was only staying there for 1 night and didn't have time to go to the shops before a local meeting. When I sent a message to the host I was advised "Hi Gary! We've sent you up with a room with everything we can provide you with." After they told me that they were wrong they still asked me for feedback on departure as it was very important to them. The other thing that isn't ideal is that the TV only works through the internet connection on your phone.

Air conditioning very poor. The worst breakfast ever had in any hotel.very warm orange juice.toast was a joke how they could send it out as it was warm bread .butter portions had melted.service was so slow.2nd day went to Witherspoons for breakfast and it was perfect
