We enjoyed our stay very much. It is not our fist visit . We have stayed many times . The hotel has a warm welcome , pleasant reception staff , with cookies on arrival . The bedrooms are comfortable and the surroundings and grounds are lovely . We particualry like using the gym and the swimming pool . This draws us to the hotel along with the restaurant which never disappoints . The staff are so pleasant and accomodating

Cosy feel to the hotel, the location is perfect, good amenities in the area, beautiful little village, parking available, full English was ok and a selection of continental was available but unable to comment on evening meals as we ate out. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Top floor bedroom was challenging for taller individuals, the ceilings are low and angled meaning we kept hitting our head in the bedroom and shower. We did not like that the bar closed before the assigned time which is also early for the bar at 10pm. There were people still sat in the bar when we were declined a drink. I was also surprised that the till asks for a tip for being served a drink..... fsir enough for food. We had a comfortable stay and had everything we needed and it was good value for the money. There are new owners there, the place is very dated but has huge potential if the new owners are renovating.
