Lovely time talking to the owner, provided a good breakfast, and was very accommodating. Felt very comfortable, the shower was very powerful and the area had a lovely river walk into the city centre. I would stay here again should I be in the area.

Unfortunately the parking was quite difficult for my car (jaguar xf) when the car park was full, as it's rather tight. I did manage to park there, but I had to park across 2 spaces due to the tightness of the carpark. I would also recommend modernising the rooms, as the decor is rather dated. Finally, as a single traveller, I would have preferred a room with a double bed as opposed to two single beds. However, that might have been an option that I missed. These are relatively miner elements in an otherwise lovely stay.

The staff were really happy to help and friendly. The location was perfect, amazing views. The menu was varied and good and the rooms were perfect for our needs.

The rooms were fairly basic but I couldn't expect Luxury for what we paid so I wasn't unhappy

The breakfast was very good. The people at the reception were very nice. The location of the hotel is fantastic. And it was very clean.

The mattresses on the beds weren’t good. The main bed was too small and much too hard. I still have backpain because of sleeping in it. The beds of the children weren’t good either. The spirals were coming through the matras.

Room was small (not much space around the bed). Bathroom so small you had to keep the sliding door open to towel yourself! Tv was a bit small and high up, and aerial lead was broken. Instant coffee at breakfast

Cobwebs on windows, dirty mattresses, bucket full of cleaning materials with dirty cloth in the pod, no toilet paper, toilets looked as if they had been in the middle of painting, work not finished. Very untidy outside pod, bottle of mould and mildew sitting on outside step under a book which was soaking wet, dirty wheelbarrow left outside. The kitchen was not clean, the fridge was filthy inside.
