Hosts were the BEST. Relaxed, helpful, fun. The location must be the best in Leverburgh. A little away from the Center with stunning views in all directions. Quiet calm and peaceful, like the whole area of western Isles.

Firstly, you have to find your way through a massive trailer park to get to the beach. The bed was the most uncomfortable thing I have ever had the misfortune to attempt to sleep on. Cheapest spring mattress money can buy. The hostess was rude and obnoxious when I complained about it and the fact I couldn't switch on the shower because I didn't know the switch for the shower is located next to the light switch in the bedroom. She then spent the next hour slamming every door in the establishment. I tried to cancel my booking for the second night the day I arrived but she refused to refund me. I checked out anyway.

The location was right next to the beach and near pier

The hotel was very run down and cold. We had obscure glass in the windows which was cracked. The bed was very springy and uncomfortable. The tea/coffee making facilities was on the the dressing table with no plug sockets. So had to move the kettle. They made no mention of renovation works being carried out but hopefully the hotel will be back to it's full splendour. We were woken up with deliveries around 5am and glass being emptied into a bin with people talking loudly. Also, the car parking cost £25 a night. So added to the cost per night, it worked out quite expensive.

When we went into the bar and asked for cocktails we were told by the manager that the mixologist wasnt in yet (it was 2.30pm) and they couldnt make cocktails till he came in. We had booked a table for 5pm for cocktails before we headed out and asked the manager if the mixologist would be in by 5pm and he said he wasnt sure so we didnt bother going back into the bar at 5pm we went elsewhere. We ordered food. Food wasnt right and had to be returned. Food was cold.
