I liked the clear and easy communication from the admin of the place. The room was easy to access and videos and communication made everything simple. The room was spacious with a lovely wide and comfortable bed, lots of light from the two windows and enough space to store my belongings. The bathroom was modern with everything needed and there were additional towels available if needed as well. I liked that the rooms are not being made while I stayed there, however, it is an available service if required. Even if there are bars and restaurants below, there was never too much noise and it ended well before midnight. I heard it because I keep my windows open; with closed windows no noise is to be heard. Great location which is within 5 minutes walking distance from the Airlink bus stop and Princess street. Easy walking or public transport to all places in Edinburgh.

As a suggestion it would be nice to have a small fridge to store items such as medicine that needs to be kept cool. And either a few more sockets or socket extensions to recharge would be great.

The Jockey Club is a lovely building in the heart of Newmarket. Very convenient for local services and restaurants - Montez being an exceptional Indian restaurant and the best dining option in the town by far. It is worth noting the is is a private members club, and as such there is a dress code and certain rules that are worth noting prior to the visit, although they were not too demanding! The overall atmosphere was great!

Location was as good as it gets for Newmarket. Cambridge is 30 mins and there is much to see within a short drive. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent!

The place is a good location, right on the seafront. It was very clean and the enclosed outdoor area at the back was nice. Milk and biscuits were very welcome after a long journey as were the coffee machine pods. Sam was helpful and responsive.

Some features in the flat could do with looking at. The bed in the room with the sofa was really squeaky, luckily it was just me so I slept in the 2nd room. Floor is not secure in places. Parking is permit holder or payable and you have to take your chance with getting a spot nearby.

Terrible experience. The fire alarms were being set off all night, police called, and our car was vandalised while in the car park from drinking glasses brought at the hotel bar. Windscreen smashed and definitely from a hotel guest. Asked to see cctv, was refused, reported ot to the police and still wasn't even offered a refund for our stay. Disappointed amd angry to say the least.
