The property interior was lovely, in all honestly when we arrived at the street we were concerned about the outside but inside the house is well decorated and stylish and we had a comfortable group stay. We had a couple of very minor issues 1 being a car on the driveway which had broken down meaning we couldn’t park very well and we also had no toilet roll but we contacted the hosts who replied very quickly apologised snd rectified instantly. They checked in with us throughout the stay and were very friendly and helpful. There is a corner shop just down the road for basic needs however a nice personal touch would be to maybe have the cleaner supply some basic necessities for guests like some milk (even just sachets) as after getting off a flight and wanting a brew with no milk is heart breaking (maybe I’m just too northern) but would have been very welcomed.

There is an alleyway down the side of the property that people walk up and down and can see directly into the property which was a little weird but we shut the blinds. There was also a very unhappy dog next door who barked A LOT and should we have had better weather and wanted to sit outside it would have been a little annoying. The property sleeps 9 people but the living room is quite small and the beds are packed into the rooms quite tight it was fine for a night or 2 but wouldn’t recommend if you were planning to spend most of your time in the property. Also the sofa bed is meant to sleep 2 adults and comfortably it would not. We did realise that both sofas turned into beds and despite only 1 set of bedding we made use of the spare throws and pillows from around the house and had a sofa bed each and slept great - so I would suggest supplying an extra set and encouraging guests to make both beds fit or adjusting to sleep 8 adults. The airport is also more than 10 minutes away more like 20 and was nearly £40 in an Uber which we were not expecting as it is names airport haven but we didn’t struggle getting a taxi.

The professional way we were greeted and looked after. Friendly, polite, helpful staff with an excellent, caring manageress. The booked food in the evening was excellent value for money. A good set up at breakfast time with yet another kind and helpful member of staff, in one of the busiest hotels we have stayed in over the last 10 days. A brilliant location with excellent walks nearby. Lovely for tiring out an over energetic dog.

It was too dark - the lighting in the room was bad You couldn’t see in the wardrobe to find your clothes. The reception and surrounds were dark not very good lighting throughout the hotel Also you need to put some clothes hooks in the rooms where you can hang your coat when you come in Or in bathroom to hang your dressing gown Breakfast was good and plenty but the roast we had on the Sunday was awful
