So peaceful and beautiful. Staff were attentive and friendly. Food portions huge and delicious! Bed was so so comfortable and the shower was powerful so yep a very excellent stay!

I would suggest that the surface mounted washbasins are provided with a collar of some sort to spread the load and avoid 'wobble' Support through the basin drain plumbing attachment is not enough to give rigid support to the units.

Location is top drawer, superb. Staff I met were great. Nice cocktail menu. Bed comfortable and good selection of pillows. Outside beautifully maintained.

I ate in the bar, and was served the worst burger I've ever had, I spoke to staff but no refund was made. The hotel felt very old fashioned. Breakfast was ok, but the buffet was small leading to queues and overcrowding. No USB (of either type) in room, my room layout made it difficult to sit anywhere comfortably, bathroom functional but shabby, shower just ok. But the view was spectacular.

Problem with the heating/hot water, forced to restart the boiler as there was no but water. There was obviously an issue because some of the radiators had been switched off. Once restarted the heating would not switch off. We rang the management company to get the PIN code for the NEST controller but the owner refused to let us have this. The front windows don’t open due to the age of the property so we were forced to sit with the front door open to try to cool the apartment. Made sleeping extremely uncomfortable. Cleaning wasn’t up to standard. We found two random socks which had been left at the back of the sofa!

Poor service, Room was absolutely shocking. Tiny room with Double Bed against a wall so you had to climb over each other to get out. Shockingly poor bathroom. No proper reception, unwelcoming and an embarrassment to overseas visitors. I would not let asylum seekers stay in this room let alone paying guests!

the fact that i was not able to explore the grounds. one of the main reasons why i booked the hotel was to explore the grounds.
