  Arrival was very welcoming from staff. Bar and restaurant area clean, dated but a lovely cosy area to relax and unwind. Breakfast menu was fantastic as was the food. Restaurant busy in the evenings so must prebook table. Ate in the restaurant for 3 evenings didn’t feel rushed. Lovely views from restaurant. Rooms clean and tidy and exceeded expectations for the price which included breakfast. Very dog friendly.

  The location was perfect for where we planned to visit. The accommodation was warm and cosy. The milk and bread were a welcome addition. There was plenty of hot water. The local takeaways were great. Curry and fish and chips with very friendly people.

  The area is very rundown and we were quite shocked by the number of closed business premises. There were a lot of stairs at the accommodation so not good for anyone who is not fit.

  Room was described as a refurbed room. It was quite nice. Bathroom still a bit scruffy- shower tray split, tiles need grout & towel rail hanging off wall. Wouldn’t have thought much of what are minor issues except for being told the room had been refurbished 🤷‍♀️
