Stated when I was booking I would arrive just after 4 which I did. I tried calling contact number I was sent in confirmation and phone off alday. Turned up at property, looked like abandoned, mail hanging out letter box which was being held up by tape. So left and had to book another place. Received email from owner over 2 hours later with and code but by then paid for another place. I would avoid.

Lovely hotel, friendly staff. Great location for the town. The history of the place is fascinating. The town is just a 10 minute walk away. It being that bit away from the centre means you get a peaceful night. The breakfast was lovely, great choice and plenty available.

Whilst lovely, the hotel is in need of an update. It also is probably more for the older person. 2 out of 3 Sockets in our room didn't work. The decor was tired and cracked.

It was absolutely stunning and it is a great location. As it was a special occasion the staff made sure the room was all set up which I really appreciated. The bathtub is fab as well.

It was a v good property. Small points would be it would be good to have tv's in the bed rooms. Also a new ironing board that works. But these are small points.

It’s pretty run down. Really hot in the rooms. The shower in our room was quite gross and a bit mouldy. The beds were noisey and wobbly with no curtain for privacy. Smart Hyde Park hostel is in a similar area and price range and is much much better - fyi :)
