  Location was very good, the facilities and staff were good, was nice having breakfast included, it was really nice room with all the facilities we needed, bed was comfy and clean bathroom was very and nice and clean, stunning views of the cathedral, would stay here again

  The breakfast had an item missing each day we went down to eat and took ages to get refilled, not enough cutlery, water and juice wasnt replenished often, the blinds were bad in the room and didnt block much sunlight therefore we woke really early everyday

  I've stayed here several times and it is always a good stay. The food in the evening is very good and well priced. breakfast is freshly cooked and of good quality. overall this is a very good place to stay.

  This isn't a complaint but the small doubles are small. It does clearly state they are small when you book, If you can afford one of the bigger doubles then they are worth the money. if i was being extra fussy I'd say there could be a bit more choice cereal wise for breakfast.

  Lovely owner. Lots of space in bedroom, bathroom and living room. Nice to be able to let my dog up on a blanket on the sofa. 30+ mins from Lake District walks.

  Mostly clean but needs attention to detail. The remote control and laminated instructions were sticky and the fridge wasn't completely clean. The TV got stuck on the apps and there weren't instructions on how to get back to main TV, which was frustrating. It's on a farm so some manure smells sometimes.
