Location wonderful ...beautiful sea view and sunset. Staff and customer service were exceptional . Sarah was a wonderful host...nothing was to much trouble. The service here is from the heart. Maria offered excellent customer service in conversations about the booking. The terrace is a beautiful place to have supper.

Location is excellent - overlooking the harbour. There is car parking, the rooms are small but well appointed. Breakfast was delicious and snacks with drinks in the evening were also. Staff were attentive and offered helpful advice.

The location was excellent—a block from the train and bus stations with many restaurants nearby. A restaurant in the hotel served breakfast, dinner, and drinks. We had one dinner there; the food was very good.

The bed was against the wall, requiring one person to climb out over the end, so we moved it. We asked (twice) for a second hand towel and second desk chair, and though it was promised, these things were never delivered. We usually don’t have the rooms cleaned for a short stay, but we asked for this one day in hopes we would get another towel. They came in, but they did not change the bed or bath linens—or add a towel. The compact double seems to be intended for one person.

Outstanding. Beautifully furnished throughout, with some lovely finishing touches, lovely lamps, lovely cushions, interesting pictures and maps. A real home feel about the whole apartment.

The room needed a refresh, the mattress was passed its life, it was very noisy, if you moved in the bed the creaking noise woke me and my husband up..the bathroom door was very squeaky, the hindges needed oiling. The shower head sat a awkward angle which meant the water hit the shower screen and hence made the floor wet..no bath mat for floor so very slippery. Overall reasonably clean but a bit more attention to the corners would be good. The soundproofing from other room not very good as we had the person in the room above us throwing up all night..admittedly not something the Hotels can control!! So to sum up reasonable, but disappointed for the price paid.

The blind in the room was not working so was always shut and we had no natural light. The beds were ok but not the most comfortable. The "family" room was tiny. Other than a tiny table and chair, no surfaces to put things down other than floor. The checking was pleasant and easy but at the checkout the guy was snooty in his mannerism and tone of voice. He was short and wanted to finish dealing with us in the shortest amount of time possible. He was saying "buy, get lost" without actually saying it. Ruined the whole stay. Also - never allow your staff to go first and get your guests wait! Or allow your staff to tell the guests to move out of their way. I used to be a hotel staff and thought it was rule no 1. The checkout guy said "excuse me" to me in an annoyed tone, I was in his way you see. For £170 a night I will stay elsewhere next time.
